Re: Rumour - Josh Laurent

Were Nottingham Forest suggesting they should sign Joao? Or was that Derby?

Ambitious, and nothing wrong with that, but it's hardly like they've been significantly bigger or better than use for a very long time. Seems bit of an odd suggestion really, that's all.

Re: If it started tomorrow.

So after last night's performance, does Azeez slip into the full squad this season?

Re: Rumour - Yannick Bolasie & Junior Hoillet

morganb An aging player called Junior is quite amusing. Perhaps he should change his name to Senior?

Provided that he doesn't stop the beat, I'm good with this.

Re: Scott Twine

Twine's Wiki has been edited to say he's signing for Portsmouth in June. It's badly written though, so clearly a fan update.

Re: Contract situation at end of 2020/21 season.

Heard that McIntyre has agreed a new deal with the club. The only thing holding it up is the agents fee Ah lovely agents. Their fee holding up a deal fir a player who, checks notes, has been at the club since he was a kid. It is seriously easy money sometimes. That would be the agent that the playe...

Jordan Rhodes has signed for Huddersfield, so that was probably our last chance to finally sign him and put those rumours to bed.

Re: Rumour - Connor Ogilvie

Snowflake Royal His pass accuracy is atrocious though this season. Less than 50%.

Is that something we could coach into him? With our manner of playing? On that stat alone, I somewhat assume he's hoofing it upfield, rather than playing to the man in front of him.

What do you think?

Re: Rumour - Josh Laurent

Would love to see him at Rangers. He would absolutely win honours AND compete in the Champions League. Cannot argue with that. Brighton... don't really offer anything except a higher wage and playing in the Prem. Not bad in itself, but Rangers has to be the more appealing offer, surely? Not really....

Re: Where do we go from here 21/22 season?

Can we just reflect on the fact that Swift played 13 games, and wasn't in a losing position in any of them. The one game we did lose, was when he was taken off (vs. Norwich)

That's really been the telling part of the season. If he had been fit, yadda yadda yadda.

Re: Who do you WANT to win the play-offs?

Barnsley, because I like their pep. And I really don't want the 3 relegated teams being promoted. That's not good for football right now, what with all the money and things. Give the Tykes a chance. EDIT: I too share a respect for the way Brentford have gone about business. And kinda gutted we're no...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h)

Poor from Southwood for me. Agree. Not really the performance you'd want after signing a new deal. Could be a worry if Rafael does move on but then again the whole team in the second half was pretty devoid of anything of any note plus there was the usual pointless defensive substitution with Tetek ...

Re: Young Team...

This succinctly explains why at times we've been naive this season. Obviously, next season a lot of these young players who've had a run in the team will be wiser. Would love us to work on our fitness too, so we can compete fully for 90s minutes, and not need the first 20 minutes of each game to get...

Re: EFL Awards.....Young Player of the Season - Michael Olise

I may be well off the mark here, but does anyone else think he’s been massively overrated? It’s great that he has so many admirers, but I can’t help but think his proneness to go missing in games should contribute against him much more than all the credit he gets for the odd good display. If he had...

Don't trash talk. We've been thoroughly excellent at times this season.

Now we have no chance of making the play offs, our game might just influence how Swansea go into the play offs.
