Re: MATCHWATCH : Swindon Town (a)

Swindon currently have Princeton Ehibhatiomhan on loan from Southampton, so we could see the brothers go head to head! Kinda exciting that. And of course Matt Richie is a former Robin too. Could be his debut back at the country ground? Loads going on in this match! They have started the league well,...

Re: Swindon (A) Vertu Trophy Tuesday 2nd September

One of my mates is a Swindon fan, and struggling a little at the moment, so I have got he and I a box for this game. So I shall be a turn coat for the evening and sitting in Swindon end. Which will be fun! Most exciting prospect is that the Ehibhatiomhan brothers may go head to head, as Princeton c...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Lincoln City (a)

I've really lost track with which positions the new signings play. Looking at the bench, I remember them all signing, but cannot remember what positions.

Who is our striker? What is out formation?

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Our biggest problem is that our fans always start with "promotion is the aim"

We were deluding ourselves that once we were relegated, that it was always going to be a decade before we were promoted again. This is our 3rd season in League 1 and promotion doesn't look on the horizon.

Re: Charlie Savage to Wrexham

Would be a big miss but we have Elliot returning to fitness and if it allows us to play Craig in his natural DM position i wouldn't be to worried. Would leave us Elliot, Wing, Craig and Knibbs in the Middle with U23s as back up. All good, buuuut we really don't want ro be losing him. I'd rather hav...

Re: Ex Royals

Gutted for McIntyre. He was supremely proud to be an Academy product. Shame we lost him the way that we did, and shame he's not kicked on. He'll be at Swindon next season, or somewhere like that.

Re: Who do you want in the first home and away games?

First 3 games to be Crawley, Burton & Northampton. Start the season with 3 straight wins and get the confidence going. Note: I realise that's hugely disrespectful to all 3 teams, particularly Burton who have a 50% win ratio against us in the past 2 seasons, but I'd like to think that this is a y...

I'd love us to go and play Bath in Bath. Nice old school ground. Gives nice vibes. Great city etc.

Re: Tyrese Fornah

Through my contacts at the club I understand Tyrese Fornah might be coming back. He is ooc in the summer. If true, that says to me one, or more of Elliott Craig savage or wing is off. As I don’t see why we would be in the market for a centre midder if these 4 stay. Because 3 of them start every wee...

Crusader Royal Why is this game even being played ?
No deal has been confirmed, it’s all falling apart.
Even if we win we won’t be allowed in the playoffs.
Just cancel the game, demolish the stadium, erase us from history.

Steady on old bean. It's not over yet. Grin and bear it. There's a good chap.

Re: Rival Watch

Thing is, money is the modern game. Sure Birmingham bought the league, the title and presumably the points record. But they still had to play what was in front of them. Complaining or even pointing it out, as a Reading fan, just looks like sour grapes. I fully expect City to ruin the point record wh...

windermereROYAL Amazon prime doing a behind the scenes documentary on Birmingham city, a true footballing miracle on how you can get promoted on a shoestring budget.

Is this a wind up? Do Amazon Prime know they spent £15m on one player?
