Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (a) sponsored by Sean Evers

Old Man Andrews John Swift as captain.... I despair. The bloke will be out the door as soon as the season is over and is about the quietest player on the pitch. Awful decision from Bowen.

Agree with that, OMA

Re: Playoffs 2019/20

What a great oxf*rd game we had tonight. Wycombe gave Fleetwood a pasting, 2 red cards and missed penalty. I would love to see them up in the league. Looking like a Wembley showdown between Wycombe and Oxford at the moment. Oxford drew 1-1 at Pompey. Doesn’t look like that at all. How can a 1-1 dra...

Re: Reading players out of contract in summer 2020

Mind you, that's saying Danny Loader is on 675 vs East on 2k, Smith similar, Olise 2.5k. I can't see any possibility Loader is on less than any of them. So I guess a lot of those figures are pure fairy tale. Yeah, I'd say there's 90% guesswork in there. For instance, it was reasonably well reported...

I would have liked to see this match watch sponsored by (a plastic pitch)

I’d play Puscas, if he doesn’t deliver then drop him

Re: The next 5 games - a key point in our season

The Stoke run-in does not look good....but many of the teams down the bottom have to play each other. Wouldn't like to predict what will happen and it is all bunching up at the moment..... I also don't think Wigan will get a points deduction. There is too much controversy over this administration a...

Re: Wigan in Administration

The latest rumour is that there is a massive bet in the Phillipines on Wigan getting relegated...this came from a Wigan fan who recorded Rick Parry saying this - the Wigan fan lives next door to him and the recording is all over Twitter........ Is this genuine?? https://mobile.twitter.com/oSimplySt...

Re: The next 5 games - a key point in our season

I also don't think Wigan will get a points deduction. There is too much controversy over this administration and whether it is was actually needed or not... Well if that is the case then a decision needs to be taken within the next week because teams down the bottom are basing their survival fight ...

Re: The next 5 games - a key point in our season

With the last relegation spot sitting on 43 points with 6 to play I would say teams need more than 50 to stay up this season. 100pc. God knows how it will end but I’d suspect 53+ish to stay up, of course that is based on the teams below keeping up their good recent form, which they may not. Also I ...

Re: Wigan in Administration

I don't know a lot about the circumstances of Wigan's administration - but if the situation is COVID-related, I have a bit of sympathy with the amount of the deduction. Doesn't sound like it is related to Covid and it appears there may be some illegal goings on....the EFL have some answering to do ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Brentford (h) sponsored by end of season apathy

Seriously get a grip we lost to a team, that for my money will be PL next year. Of the 3 games post break, the only disappointing result really was Stoke. In the 3 before the break we picked up 6pts. We have a run of games now against teams around us. Today realistically meant jackshit. We don't ev...

Yo Leon, I got the ko time wrong again 8) Btw can we ditch Puscas please? Shows real promise one game every six I’d say, shame. Remember his performance against Cardiff back in August! If he did that on a regular basis I would keep him, but those performances are a flash in the pan, shame...

How did you get more points than myself for example, even though I got the HT score correct and closer to the FT score than you mate?

Yes, a shame, would have been nice to have nabbed a top ten finish to give something to build on for next year, and pre covids I thought we may be on for that

I blame the covids
