Re: Sustain the Game!

The campaign looks for urgent action from the authorities to protect the very existence of clubs in this dangerous time. Which authorities, and what action is required? Looks very broad in scope and very general at the moment. A bit "Down with this sort of thing", dare I say it. Fine if i...

Re: Should Reading change our club crest...

I remember being overjoyed when I finally got Dave Beasant in ProSet cards.

Not sure why this sticks in the memory tbh, I'm sure a psychologist would have a field day.

Was always a fan of Coventry City's elephant. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/94/Coventry_City_FC_logo.svg/175px-Coventry_City_FC_logo.svg.png Agree. Always a joy to get the Coventry ‘shiney’ when opening a pack of football stickers in my youth Simpler times eh, SouthDownsRoyal.

Re: Should Reading change our club crest...

I confess,it was one of 4 designs I sent in to JM, in response to a call for fans to send in designs. Boyd Butler then forwarded it to an agency as it was hand drawn. They tweeked it,swapping the lion and the crown round. What were the other three? Is your avatar also one of your designs? Feel like ...

Re: What goes on inside our owners' heads?

I've lived in China for 8 years, I work in China, my wife is Chinese. I've worked for many Chinese bosses and every single one of then has been SHIT. I'm quitting my current job in 5 weeks because the new boss came in, and EVERY SINGLE LEGAL FOREIGN MEMBER OF STAFF will have left by October 1st. Th...

Re: What goes on inside our owners' heads?

This is typical Chinese business management decisions. They don't live in reality, they don't understand what they're doing. They get some bright idea which is the worst idea ever, then they tell everyone to do it and be enthusiastic about it, and expect it to work. In China you don't become succes...

I heard he had two main criteria - proximity to B&Q, and proximity to a driving range. He's not a golfer but is keen to start lessons.

Re: STH Options

That would put clubs in a difficult situation as to when to put next seasons STs on sale. Tricky for fans too. It would be nice to think that the EFL would give some consideration to the supporters of all clubs when planning the fixture list. Maybe plan to get some of the longer trips out of the wa...

King's LOLynn

Thing is we can laugh and point, or call them greedy pcunts, but it does show that football is somewhat broken commercially.

How much are players earning at that level? Quite a lot I'm sure.

I approached one city analyst for comment earlier, he muttered something about "throwing good money after bad" then took himself away down Lombard Street.

SCIAG Tbh I’m more interested in away kits because they’re so unpredictable.

Minecraft isn't my thing, and I somewhat object to these "parachute posters" just registering to get hits to their youtube channel...but this deserved a little more didn't it?
