Re: Rare Reading Shirt Signatures?

Scutz, just tell him to put it on ebay. Then you can get wasted and buy it for two grand at 3am. :D Yeah I think that’s what’ll happen. It’ll be me ebaying it for him though. I have enough old shirts in the back of a closet that I’ve been meaning to frame. Plus my late night eBay days are long behi...

Re: Rare Reading Shirt Signatures?

It’s you, isn’t it Scutz? He he, but no. I stand to make nothing from this transaction except the good feeling that comes with helping a person out. :D He’s special needs and had no idea what he had. His mum nearly put it in the wash. :? It’s better off going to a collector who can apprecia...

Re: Rare Reading Shirt Signatures?

PieEater Surely something like that you'd frame and hang on the wall?

It’s a bit of a longer story than that, but the crux of it is that the young man who was recently given this as a gift probably needs the money more than he needs something on his wall.

Re: Rare Reading Shirt Signatures?

Comparing to signed items of the players on eBay could be your best bet. Note that your spell checker has drafted Chris Gunter into the army. Yes, good shout. Or at least it would be if Adam Federici managed to sign his name the same way twice :D I exaggerate (slightly). Anyone know the approx valu...

Rare Reading Shirt Signatures?

Chaps, a young man I know was recently gifted this shirt and he wants some assistance identifying whose signature is whose on this very rare 2015 shirt that we wore in the Ryans Royals game. It’s Steven Kelly’s match worn shirt, so I know it’s his name on the back, but who is on the front? Please he...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Anyone who wants the shirt but doesn’t want to pay £58 should go to DH Gate, where you’ll be able to buy it for £12 and it will be exactly the same. Obvs you’ll have to live with the guilt that not one penny goes to helping the club out and you’ll probably go to hell. They accidentally sent me a QP...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Could just be the new positivity around the club but it’s the fastest selling shirt in years apparently.

Linden Jones' Tash If the home kit is biscuits...

Does that mean the away kit will be Beer?...

And the third kit Seeds?

That may not be far off. I’ve heard it’s a burnt orange/bronze colour.

As a history nerd, I think it’s a fabulous idea if this is the intention, and it very much sounds like it is.

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Agree that the shade of blue on the shirt looks different to the colour of the shorts/socks Also, read on Twitter earlier that ladies teams prefer dark shorts so they wouldn't have gone with white and guess you want both men's and women's kits the same I'm not convinced for one moment that the wome...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

It will become an iconic kit in 10 years time, but not convinced the bands are dark enough. I would have pushed for blue shirt where the white bands were made by a white floral pattern on top of the blue, rather than a blue pattern on top of white. Doesn't it all just look a bit too white? Nah, tha...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

I’d be up for changing our nickname back to The Biscuitmen.

The Royal family haven’t exactly covered themselves in glory of late. Time to distance ourselves from them before one of them bangs a child and then buys them off again.

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Yes, I don’t buy kits for myself, but I think that’s a beauty. Maybe I will buy this one. A nod to our heritage and a unique design. Anyone who doesn’t like it mustn’t appreciate the value in those things and probably just wants another tired variation on hoops. When we piss the league this will bec...

Re: Conflict of interests, the Hunt's

I imagine S Hunty looks back on his RFC time with fondness, and has communicated that to his client. My only concern is; are they any good?
