Re: Bowen Out.

This is the way I see it: You're sick so you go to the doctor. He gives you some medicine and tells you it takes 7 days to work. Day one of taking it you feel better. Day two you feel worse. Day three you throw the tablets in the bin and ask the doctor for something else. You then repeat that cycle ...

Re: Bowen Out.

If Bowen goes, what next? Surely it's time the focus is on the squad? We have been in this pattern for the last few seasons and a lot of the current squad have been part of the malaise. Manager comes in, form picks up, we look half decent at times, move up the table a bit then the player appear to ...

Re: BFT well I don’t know what to call it without resorting to a lot of naughty words

So are we really just going to become one of those clubs who fires the manager every season to get a 5-6 game bump which allows us to avoid relegation? That's bad enough in the Premier League but just moronic in the Championship. Apart from the one Stam season, chopping and changing hasn't helped us...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (h) sponsored by Nicky Forster

Extremely disappointing to see us go backwards. Thought we played some decent football against Leeds and was expecting tonight to be a fairly straight-forward win. Though Miazga and Obita being out weakens us quiet a bit.

Re: No BFTG Leeds (A)?

I thought that we had a lot of fight in the first 30 mins. Defence and midfield were battling hard for every ball and were able to regularly supply the front men. However, their inability to convert possession into decent chances took its toll on team moral. Why bother if it doesn't look like you ar...

Re: Leeds (A) Saturday February 22nd

Btw, my post may have sounded like I was defending Leeds. Most certainly not; they're a vile, arrogant club. They believe that being a bigger club gives them a god given right to play in the Premier League; it doesn't. They sneer at supporters of smaller clubs. Well oxf*rd you all, I'm proud to sup...

Re: Leeds (A) Saturday February 22nd

Football isn't a normal business. A fan is not a customer - we don't look at all the options and support the team that gives us the best entertainment for our cash, we go to games out of loyalty for our team and (for a lot of us) to spend time with fellow fans. I mean - if it were just about whether...

Re: Record Watch 2019/20

I'm interested - do people think we will still sing '106' if Liverpool beat that points total? I understand that technically it's a football league - 46 games a season record, but I would find it a bit embarrassing if we continued with the song.

Re: Leeds (A) Saturday February 22nd

I think that £20 would be a good gesture to recognise the effort and expense that away fans go to. However, £25 is an acceptable price in my opinion, and should be the Championship cap. I don't think it matters who the team is - should cost the same to watch Leeds as it does to watch Luton. Don't fo...

Re: 20/21 squad and summer transfer business

We've needed to buy a left back from the moment that Obita got his original injury. That has to be a priority.

Apart from that, if we can retain the loan players then I don't think it's necessary to buy. Every time we bring new players into the squad it's just another potential disruption.

Old Man Andrews Great afternoon's work for us, much needed win. Those saying Bowen out or suggesting he doesn't know what he is doing look a bit silly. He's doing perfectly fine and clearly has the support of the players.

Anyone saying Bowen out is more than silly, regardless of how we got on today.

Good stuff. This result makes up for the Hull game. Keeps us on track to be all but safe by March, giving us the option to gamble a bit with our cup selection.

Re: Sheffield Wednesday (A) Saturday February 15th

I live very close to Hillsborough but i'm out at £33. £20's plenty £30's dirty. Good god................ I appreciate that everyone has their own views - but I just think that unless fans refuse to pay ridiculous prices that they will never change. £33 is clearly too much to watch championship foot...

Good point - gets us closer towards that 45 mark where we can start preparing for next season without any pressure.

IMO, just as a fan. FA Cup Final > Play Off Place and Winning FA CUP > Promotion Obviously from a business side you have to take promotion opportunity every time, but I believe that there should be room for us to think about what is actually important in football. What are your good memories as a R...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by Jason Bowen

Sorry but it is meaningless. If the FA up the prize money then it might get some value but until then it's a pointless distraction from the important stuff. Absolute nonce sense . You obvs didn’t go to both Bradford games and the arsenal semi . I did. Still a pointless competition that has robbed u...
