Leeds?

Yeah, 14th October 2017. Even then, we saved a 90th minute penalty

Re: Will we get found out again?

All this seems so similar to Clarke’s season. Start the first couple of games poorly, make some strong signings and follow that up with a convincing win. I would say we weren’t really ever found out that season, instead I’ve never known a game which has killed confidence as much as that Fulham game,...

Re: BFTG - Cardiff

I cant remember a single call the ref got wrong tbh. Hull fouled way more and that ref was useless. I know our assistant likes a bit of a whinge but you can generally tell the performance of a ref based off the reaction of the two benches. Gomes and Co were getting seriously frustrated with some of...

 @ the usual moaners, sharpening their knives on pages 4 & 5 of the match thread. We're very inconsistent, but it was pleasing to see some ability and desire on show for 90 minutes today. It’s easy to say comments like yours after an event has taken place. Yep, fair play, you've never said...

Re: BFTG - Cardiff

Morrison was probably their standout Ref and linesman were poor, especially the one on the North side. Missed so many blatant fouls on Joao In agreement with nearly everything you say but thought Morrison was a little lucky for them. Ref seemed to give him a lot of leeway as you mention - another d...

Re: BFTG - Cardiff

Simply outstanding from minute 1 Rafael 9 - looks composed on the ball and made a great save at 2 down Yiadom 8 - won his dual and was an engine on the pitch. Needed to stay wider at times but very good Miazga 8 - rock solid Morrison 9 - a promotion team sort of signing, so impressed Moore 8 - looks...

One of the best performances I’ve seen from us, simply outstanding. Very hard to select standouts but particular credit to Omar Richards who was quite frankly superb today

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by Adam Federici

Dont be silly. Why is that silly? He isn't going to accept being a 3rd choice striker and nor should he. We can get a bit of cash for him too. Of course he might. If he's regularly getting 20 minute spells and we're doing ok. Puscas or Joao are likely to lose form or be injured at some point. We ma...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by Adam Federici

Would have liked to see McIntyre in for right foot left foot balance in the centre half spot Unimpressed with Rino against Wednesday but not sure that’s the right call at all to drop him. It leaves a lot of impetus on Pele to hold Pleased with the front two although Baldock or Nova need to be on the...

Re: Gunter, GMac and 'the Reading way'?

Yes, is this in any way a departure from the past? Maybe those having a problem with it could weigh in? Thanks. (Btw, I'd be surprised if GMac has a beef with the club. He's continued to draw a handsome salary in recent seasons and gave little in return because he was injured and unavailable. Not h...

Re: Gunter, GMac and 'the Reading way'?

Asking players who didn't make the cut for the first team squad to join in with the reserves is kind of how it has always been isn't it ? Yes, is this in any way a departure from the past? Re: Gunter, GMac and 'the Reading way'?

They've been treated atrociously. Fair enough getting Popa or someone who has never performed for us to train with the kids but treating 2 long term servents of the club who have been nothing but superb both on and off it so poorly is really shit. And tbh I think they both have something to offer t...

Re: The Local Journo Thread

It’s a shame that the situation has ended it the way it has but McCleary has been garbage since the start of 2017 really. His PO final performance was really iffy and I still maintain he should have taken a penalty rather than leaving it to a CB and LB who inevitable missed Gunters a bit different i...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by Adam Federici

We will see Seth. I’m not as confident as you just yet. Let’s not forget we conceded five in our first two games so in that respect only conceding one was an improvement albeit against lower League opposition. I'm always optimistic at the start of a season. I think we need to play to our strengths ...

Rafael Yiadom Moore Miazga Richards Swift Rino Ejaria Puscas Boye Joao Walker, Morrison, Gunter, Pele, Meite, Olise, Baldock Not sure if Puscas can play there but wanted to fit him and Joao in the same team. Think it’ll take a while for Pele to get used to the team and I don’t think Sunday is the ri...

Happy to win but really disappointed not to see Olise being given a chance, especially when the likes of Adam are getting game time ahead of him. Adam is a shocking shocking footballer

Our defending from corners is abysmal, I said this a while ago and it hasn’t improved
