Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Do we press a lot? Thought we only really press in midifield. Its not like we press high up.

Re: BFT Cardiff iFollow

Holmes did well when he came on. Loved the triangle in midfield loads of energy. Reminded me of the 2006 team. Defence was solid. We might have a bit of a team here. Holmes did do well when he came on. Good impact for a sub playing out of position. Have we talked about Ararunas throw ins yet? Becau...

Re: BFT Cardiff iFollow

Don't want to go too overboard as we've played 3 teams who are no great shakes at the moment but Paunovic is shaping up to have a blend of good man management skills and solid tactical nous. The players look so much better drilled and disciplined than in recent years. I wonder whether it's purely d...

Re: Pauno Whelmguage v2.0

I dont want to come across negative here but I am going to reserve any serious judgement of his ability as a manager until we are a few more games in. He has done well, selected the right teams, made sensible subs, seems to have done good work on the training pitch and, from reports, he is very hand...

Re: BFT Cardiff iFollow

Dislocated my knee a few times whilst playing. The first time was the most pure brilliant pain I have ever experienced. Real fading at the edges, sound turns off stuff. It’s never quite been as bad as the first bit it’s the kind of injury I’ve never been able to avoid crying out during. The knee’s ...

Re: BFT Cardiff iFollow

Anybody had a dislocated shoulder ? Do they just snap it back in;leave it for a week and your as good as new ?Yet some people need surgery.Did Moore ever get surgery done ?I have only ever dislocated a finger(volleyball, yeah I know),so I have no idea.A moment of extreme pain while they put it back,...

Meite is fine. He was dancing with a big smile on his face after the game.

Who has a better smile? Meite or Laurent?

That’s a difficult one but Laurent seems to have a similar upbeat approach as Yaks and I like that

The 2 of them will probably charm the pants off most our opposition.

41 points from safety.... Not getting carried away this is Reading after all. I went to most of those 13 games at the start of the 85/86 season and most I came away thinking how did we win that? Not the case so far we deserved every win. The injuries are areal worry Swift, Yiadom Meite and Jaol . N...

Re: BFT Cardiff iFollow

Silly little thing but feel it has to be said again: How stupid must Birmingham feel letting Morrison go for free? Hes such a tidy player. It funny I never really noticed him before he joined us but he's been fantastic for us. +1 to that It's funny I was thinking exactly the same thing. I don't kno...

Hound Just watching the highlights - the incident where Joao injured his shoulder - blatant foul wasn’t it? Not quite sure how that got missed

Yeah, the commentator team were saying it looked like he fell while I was watching 3 or 4 replays of it. Very clear foul. Ref missed a bunch of fouls all game.

Re: BFT Cardiff iFollow

Harris reckons Cardiff were the better side; don't know what game he was watching..Joao completely bossed his centre halves. They actually have some decent players, sadly stifled by his stoneage tactics Yeah I saw that. Deluded or what. This whole quote sums up his attitude to football tbf "Th...

Re: Goal of the Season 2020-2021

Olise probably on a par with Ejaria's for me. The technique required to watch it drop, pick your spot and volley it home through a crowd keeping it down is hard. Hence why so many a ballooned. It was no speculative hit and hope. By comparison Ejaria's finish was routine, whilst Joao's contribution ...

NewCorkSeth My little brothers surname is Eng, the anglicised version of Ng, and I remember him often getting shit for having Eng, which people thought stood for England, on the back of his Jersey.

Is your surname Land by any chance?

Lish actually.

Re: Rumour- Lewis Gibson

How many loan players have passed through our club in the past 5 seasons. Have we progressed and improved as a team with a clear identity. Or are we simply a live version of Championship manager? Sorry i don't understand the question. What do you mean? There's no long term strategy in place just en...

Re: Rumour- Lewis Gibson

He’ll be wanting to play every week. I think what happens next is really crucial. If he doesn’t get a good loan move (or a starting place for us) I wonder whether he’ll look at Loader’s example and decide to move on next summer. Not suggesting he should be given a starting place to stop him thinkin...

Re: Rumour- Lewis Gibson

All I'm going to say on this for now is we have been through this before. Cooper, Dickie and Hyam all shown the loan door rather than given first team action, all left and all are doing well.

Play our oxf*rd academy players instead of developing those from other clubs.

Hound he is tall

He is 6ft1. Same height as Moore..

tell SCIAG not me

He has blocked me. I asked him a question once about why he thought "You Only Live Twice" was the best Bond song and he flew off the handle.
