Re: Gunter, GMac and 'the Reading way'?

god, give them break.........they have contract as most people have within a work environment. The difference with footy as we all well know is you can't just sack a footballer - wish i had contract like that but as self employed I won't sack myself. They have both been good servants over a pretty l...

Re: On this day

Tranmere 1 Reading 3 - PO SF 1st Leg. In all my years, this was the most perfect away performance I ever witnessed. Tranmere were played off the park and their fans showed their appreciation at the end. A brilliant, brilliant day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwxI5e06HXU JM also cam into the awa...

Re: Liam Moore Interview

This is the first podcast i have ever listened to - not a technophobe just generally can't be bothered with listening to crap. What a enlightening interview on both sides - Elm Park Royals you did an excellent and Liam Moore needs to be acknowledged for being so candid (mostly) with his answers. Ex...

Re: Alarming! Are we going bust.

no we are not !!! no external debt to speak of, owners that have just subscribed to £25M of new shares, a £60M loan facility, a profit last financial year (2017) - need i go on.........FFP might be more of an issue but i suspect the new training ground costs will be excluded and they must be substan...

Re: New Manager

Christ on a bike. let`s get a manager of one of the only two sides below us. all the romantic geeks on social media think he`s the man for us. His career management record is ordinary in the extreme. 37.7% win rate. how is he the man to keep us up? he isn't and will be a complete disaster - romanti...

Re: New Manager

Well that didn't take the new CEO long to realise what most of have known for months - win %age is abysmal

definitely don't need Bruce or Hughes - has beens. need an up and coming manager/coach that can harnish the quality we do have and shift on the journeymen pros. No idea who though.........

Re: BFTG - Stokies

How far is your tongue in your cheek........... :? Must have a really big cheek, i reckon. Gunts was fine today and then you critique his failures........he wasn't fine he was merely adequate and slows down any attacking impetus we ever generate and thats pretty rare. not sure we have many others o...

Re: BFTG - Stokies

Beg to differ.Better than Swift tho....... Gunts was fine today. Stoke targeted our left flank in the first half and it meant that Gunter was outnumbered with Swift and GMac not backing him up. . He also drifted infield leaving the flank exposed but that would have been because he was playin...

Re: BFTG - Stokies

Didn't think they were very good but we settled down to the normal poor home form performance - three of those players are simply not good enough to play in this formation - something needs to change whether it be players or personnel.............wins bring points that matter not draws against teams...
