Re: Back to the Mad Stad

Anyone know if there are going to be any tickets left when they go on sale to those with >3000 points tomorrow? I think there will be. Sure I saw online somewhere that we don't actually have more than 2,000 supporters who were able to buy tickets today, thus guaranteeing availability for tomorrow. ...

Re: Back to the Mad Stad

if theres only 2k people, pretty sure they can spread people a lot wider than every other seat They are only opening the lower bit. Edit sure i read it but can’t find it now. You are totally wrong, the available seats are all in the upper half ! In terms of RB and the 1m thing, in England the rule ...

Re: Back to the Mad Stad

I`m in for Saturday, but I couldn`t see an option to load it to my access card, anyone else have a problem? needed to pay an extra £1.50 to have it posted. Tickets cannot be loaded to member cards. It’s either print at home for free or pay £1.50 postage I'm guessing that's because they'll have a QR...

Re: The Backroom Staff Thread

Derby’s line up is extremely impressive. Can’t be many clubs have a guy with over 100 caps giving the benefit of his experience to the players !

Re: How good is Yakou Meite?

Better than the sum of his parts. Bit like Michail Antonio in that respect - they don't really look like they're good at football but they're incredibly effective. He's got tonnes of enthusiasm too, definitely not a surly wideboy like some modern professionals. Thank God that the club actually spot...

Re: January window

Young and hungry loanees would be good to see. Like others have suggested a wideman or forward would do nicely. Liam Delap (Man City) or Ellis Simms (Everton) two promising players in PL2. We’ll probably look at Benfica / Porto / Sporting knowing our scouts though Not sure we’ll be going back to Ev...

Re: January window

It’s unrealistic but according to the SKY commentator that’s what Paunovic has been told by the owners. And it pretty much fits with their approach so far. Demand immediate results. Run the finances into the red unsustainable. Etc etc. If they wanted to take a steady building approach there was no ...

Re: January window

Not the vibe Paunovic has been giving. It would be incredibly gung ho to expect a brand new coach to immediately transform a struggling side into a promoted one with no major changes of personnel ! It simply doesn’thappen..... It’s unrealistic but according to the SKY commentator that’s what Paunov...

Re: January window

Exactly. Plus promotion is not out of the question. I’d say the plan is not promotion this season, although we’ll give it a go. I think the plan is to establish a tight group of players bought into a way of playing in order to be real contenders the following season. Unless we finish this season we...

Re: Back to the Mad Stad

Royals and Racers Sorry - not sure that under my scenario how they can start selling tickets at the same time- surely it should be afternoon for fans who attended the Forest game

Have reread it, it seems it must be a typo.

Re: January window

I do not see us keeping hold of any of Joao, Ejaria or Olise next summer even if we kept them in January which depends on whether we are still around the playoffs. All of them have bags of talent and deserve a big move if they can’t go up with us. I think you underestimate our owners who blocked mo...

Re: Omar Richards Contract

Omar is looking like an exceptional player now. His ability on the ball is remarkable at times and his passing is very good in tight situations. What has really impressed me is how much he has improved defensively. He is much more harder to beat and more physical. Potential to be our best ever left...

Re: Ejaria`s body language.

I have heard he’s a bit of a complex character. Nothing bad or problematic, just quite shy and not as ‘confident’ as many other young millionaire sportsmen.

Re: Omar Richards Contract

Olise is a big call, he knows there is the interest out there, it`s difficult to see us keeping hold of him next summer if a very big offer comes in, am I right in saying he can go for nothing if he plays out his contract till 2022? He wouldn't go For nothing as he’s under 24 so we would get a ‘dev...

Re: How good is Yakou Meite?

I’m not sure how ‘good’ he is, but he is certainly incredibly effective and I’ll take that every time. Must be horrible for teams working out how to defend against him. A big, powerful, pacy guy hanging out on the wing but then suddenly popping upon the box is a nightmare. He’s too big and strong fo...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (h) sponsored by Scott Murray

I certainly wouldn’t send him back. He’s fine for back up and could do a job off the bench further forward, but hopefully we’ve seen the last of him at the back. One day he may very well develop into a good right back but it won’t be with us and it won’t be this season. His main issue is positionin...

Re: Back to the Mad Stad

Watford are doing a ticket ballot https://www.watfordfc.com/news/ticket/news-ticket-ballot-open-for-december-matches Ticket ballot for each game from those season ticket holders who paid the retainer and want to attend IMO would be the best approach. I believe that was what Atlanta Utd were doing i...
