Re: EFL Football to return behind closed doors

The Sports Illustrated article is well worth a read, but it makes you realise that there is little or no chance of any meaningful football until the end of the year. It carefully takes apart the idea of games being played behind closed doors. The main driver with all of this is the money and Parry's...

I wish we could have the Law about drinking in the Stadium changed. At least you could have a drink whilst watching this rubbish to deaden the pain a bit.

I'm never sure resting players actually works . Instead some of them look off the pace when they come back.

Re: BFTG Bristol citeh.

To be honest - paying a tenner for 2 hours parking absolutely puts me off going too. For me to get to a midweek game I have to drive home after work (Bracknell to Baso) - sort the kids out - and then rush straight back up the A33 to get there for 8pm. I don't mind paying £25 for a ticket - but to t...

Re: BFTG Bristol citeh.

The club are paying the price for not having enough sensible parking. Those places you could park for free or pay for and get out in reasonable time have all gone. In my case I catch the bus. So it normally a wait followed by a crush on the bus when it turns up. Not such a big issue or a reasonable ...

Please can we have comments from those who actually attended the game

I got the impression that Adie WIlliams was not at the game on Saturday but at Wentworth. I don't have a problem with that, but its the same whenever you have a caller who phones in/texts and hasn't attended the game making comments. They are really having to pass an opinion based on the commentary,...

I'm still surprised that Nicky Hammond hasn't been invited back. As far as I am aware he is available.

Re: Injury & Suspension Watch : 2018/2019

I have been told third hand, that Gomez's team has a different approach to injuries. The old medical team preferred to have injuries rested. Gomez's team works the injured players much harder. That might account for the faster recoveries that we are seeing in some cases.

Anyone involved in the handbags after game between the supporters ? Must admit I was very impressed with the number of police who attended. Must have pulled them from across the whole region.

Re: Bftg- Wigan (h)

Terrible ref. Should have given their number three a second yellow and sent him off. Instead gave the card to the number 17 who happened to be near the foul but didn't commit it. Their number three just shrugged his shoulders and jogged off. That's one reason why it was such a sweet victory.

Re: BFTG Villa

Whilst its understandable that we would want Mings banned, in a way that could end up hurting us. A weakened Villa could result in points going to our rivals.

I suggest we vent our anger towards making sure we back the team (and perhaps making sure that all refs feel they owe us one for this).

John Madejski's Wallet Also......WTF happened with that Barrow corner? :?

Did he accidently kick it? or intentionally play a short corner not realising any reading players were there?

According to the commentary he managed to kick the flag post by accident and then could only get minimal power on the ball.

Re: Where have the hardcore gone? Culture loss.

Its been almost therapeutic reading the posts. Most sum up my views and in a way its comforting to know I'm not the only one who feels this way. When McDermott was sacked the second time, I didn't renew my season ticket and thought I would struggle to find a seat in the area I wanted. I've never had...

I wonder if there is someway BBCRB or similar could try to get an interview with Steven Reid. Was there something that they were doing last season that we can't see that's not happened this season ?

Re: Ipswich (H)

I understand your sentiments but I think the club need to think about season ticket holders who have paid out a lot of money at the start of the season. If the club do too many of these special deals it makes it more difficult for season ticket holders to justify the lay out at the start of the seas...

Parking at Costco

I went to park in Costco car park today and thought it looked emptier than normal. Then I noticed a van with a bunch of cameras and ANPR on it. Are they actually trying to fine people who park at the game and then shop in the store afterwards ? I decided not to risk it and nipped off somewhere else,...

Re: Message to Tim Dellor and Konathon Low

To be honest with the exception of the Keegan's "I would love it" interview and possibly a few others that I can't recall, have the media really ever got much out of managers post games.

99.9% are just the usual cliches. I think Tim does his best.
