Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h) sponsored by Craig Maskell

Truly awful game. Two poor sides cancelling each other out. Reading really should be better than this tripe.

Think only Rafael and Pele have any credit after this.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h) sponsored by Craig Maskell

Old Man Andrews It will be so Reading to lose 0-1 to a shite Huddersfield side tomorrow. Really just want us to go hell for leather tomorrow, hopefully start 2 up top.

Can anyone remember the last time a Reading team “went for it from the off” at home in a league fixture?

Re: Rival Watch

If Wycombe win the playoffs will it be the greatest managerial achievement in football history by Gareth Ainsworth ? Categorically true. Whether it's the greatest managerial achievement in football history , is a totally different story. Bob Stokoe rescuing Carlisle. Carlisle making the top divisio...

Re: Squad for 2020/21

The wage issue clearly is a short term issue. Whether it has been going on for several years really isn’t the point. It’s about players on contracts of 1 or 2 years duration. Once their contract is up then the wages disappear. Unless we chose to give them a new contract on better terms or sign play...

Re: Playoffs 2019/20

It's got to be Oxford just so we don't have to listen to OMA squirting over Wycombe's manager endlessly. Let's be honest though, we would be lucky to have a manager like him. He is a very good tactician and a great manager and a great person by all accounts. Would agree with Simmops that GA looks t...

Re: Playoffs 2019/20

Just a few minutes to go and it’s Wycombe 1-2 Fleetwood so looks like the M40 derby is going to be on. Do hope Wycombe can turn it on when it matters.

Rumour - Gonçalo Tabuaço

Reading are being linked with a move for 19 year old Portuguese keeper Gonçalo Tabuaço

Personally hope there is zero in this as it’s the last thing I think Reading need given the more than able Rafael, not to mention the 3 or so very promising youngsters already at the club.

Old Man Andrews Can't see the team changing too much and nor should it really.

While I agree, I could see some changes being made to keep things fresh with continually playing Saturday - Tuesday.

Re: Would this ex-players team get promoted?

Steve Death was a brilliant keeper, only saw him play three times but looked immense on each of those occasions despite his lack of height (he was only 5’7”). Don’t think I’d be unhappy with any Reading side playing a fit Steve Death in his prime in goal.

Re: Back from I Follow Luton

Rinomhota can have that freedom if Pele is playing. I've not seen it mentioned anywhere but one of the things that stood out to me was that clearly Rinomhota was given a man to man job to do on Izzy Brown. He followed him all over the pitch when Luton has possession yet still found time to contribu...

Next question

I can remember Swansea 1-6 Reading back in 1989 or so but what is Reading’s biggest away league win?
