Re: Gunter, GMac and 'the Reading way'?

Stam once banned McLeary from the dressing room at an away game.... Wasn't that because he got sent off for something stupid, and Stam didn't want to look at him if they'd lost? Seem to remember he hung around the car park apologising to the away fans. It's not exactly Joey Barton territory. Anyway...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Terrible kit this season, back panel, wtf! Shan't be buying this one I agree - the back of the home kit truly is appalling. Certainly looks naff if the space isn’t filled with a name.... like the shirt with the faded hoops - definitely encourages buyers to stump up the extra for a name / number on ...

Re: Any more out the door?

hmm, JLow reckons the club are blocking loans for McCleary and Gunter and will stay instead. Odd if true. Odd. But they're both good enough as squad players. If very expensive for that. I don't mind Gunter playing half a dozen games at RB if Yiadom is out for a while, or covering Blackett at LB. Su...

Re: Next Season's Squad.

Please can someone explain wtf is actually happening? How are we suddenly spending all this money? Never known a window like this. We had signed no one a month ago and now it’s eight and appearing to be on the verge of smashing our transfer record. I can only think the Casumo deal was worth a shedl...

Re: Rival Watch

Disciplinary points deciding positions? Is that new? Yes - last season it was just points, goal difference, goals scored, then play-off. But obviously it will never apply in practice at the end of a season. Do Assistant Coach cards count as well? Asking for a friend.     :...

Re: Fantasy Premier League - HNA? league

Forty in Hob Nob Anyone? Super League now. Up from 32 or 33 last season. Any more? You have until Friday at 7pm to join this league or regret it forever. Haven't the league codes all changed for 2019/20? (they have on the leagues I'm admin on) At the moment I think your only seeing existing league ...

Joey vdB can leave NEC for free, to make way for younger cheaper players. https://www.forzanec.nl/nieuws/nieuws/article/van-den-berg-mag-gratis-vertrekken-bij-nec.html Worth making an enquiry ? Could do a job for us and probably wouldn’t want big wages. Don't think he'd be inclined to come back aft...

Re: Gunter out on loan

I’m surprised he hasn’t gone already. Obvs clubs trying to get him as cheaply as possible and no doubts us trying to negotiate them up Suppose that’s the downside with making it so clear to everyone that we need to get rid Yep - but OTOH, if it isn't made obvious, then he might not agree to a loan ...

Re: Free away travel

I guess that for a lot of people, the coach is only worthwhile if you're only going for the football. You miss out on the rest of the away-day experience. Sometimes that's fine - sometimes it's not. For the games that are a long way away - unless you're going to make a weekend out of it, there isn'...

StellaPlease Forestieri given 5 game ban.

No manager yet and other injuries. We should be taking the points here.

He's appealing the ban and will be able to play, pending the appeal.

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Just been down to the club shop as i was in the area. During the refurbishment they must have lost about a third of the size- couldn`t believe how small it is now. Saturday`s will be manic in there from now on !! From next season they won't have the London Irish kit in there, of course. But this se...

Re: SPECULATION - Aaron Tshibola

I'd be interested to know whether there's a correlation between those who are happy with our current midfield options and those who aren't keen on Tish vs vice versa. A correlation which way? I think we need another midfielder, I don't think it should be Tish... Still mourning the loss of Baker, tb...

Re: Any more out the door?

Wasn't he out of contract? Don't players that age that move only attract a fairly modest payout?? Think at most it will be about 100k Minimum is 160k Yes, 160K up front, but with more coming if he does well. e.g., 20% of transfer fee if Southampton sell him before he's 24, 5% of any future transfer...

Re: Are we still heading for a 9pt deduction?

I would imagine the soft embargo was imposed as the EFL consider that last seasons trading may result in RFC exceeding the £39m losses allowed over the last 3 year period. Although this has been lifted it seems the club are only signing loan players or free transfers. Remember Birmingham only had t...
