Re: New Kits 2019/20

Rather nice new kit and badge for Iceland.

They've even unveiled a website for it all.

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

The definitely need a keeper and a left back. Ben Chilwell would be very good for them as a LB, just the sort they need. In terms of keepers it is a harder one to call. The elite keepers probably wouldn't go there and I can't think of too many younger keepers that are good enough. At a push I would...

Re: New Kits 2019/20

Along with background patterns on shirts, logos to fit club colours also seems to be a thing this season. Chelsea another example - whilst Three do from time to time change their colours to suit a promotion, their company logo is 'normally' white with a black outline. Most brands have a single-colo...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

Sanguine Also read this morning that Palace didn't touch the ball in Liverpool's penalty area.

Yep, apparently that's the first time since stats like this started being recorded in 2008-09.
Also read that Trent had 52 touches in the first half. He made 37 passes, five crosses and no tackles.

Re: VAR

Apparently the PL said VAR didn't intervene, because Oliver had already brought the passage of play (that contained the ghost goal) to an end (with a subsequent infringement against Villa). Shambolic.

Re: Season Ticket Refund?

Looks like ST holders can, if they really want, get a refund on the 5 remaining home games: https://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/2020/june/-season-ticket-holders-able-to-watch-all-nine-games-for-free-but-options-also-made-available-to-our-most-loyal-set-of-supporters/ Some good alternative options there...

Re: 2019/20 Season - How will it end?

PL confirmed that 33 games will be available on free-to-air TV. Villa v Sheff Utd at 6pm and City v Arsenal at 8pm on Wednesday 17 June, both on Sky. Looks like Norwich v Southampton on Friday 19 June is the first free-to-air on Sky/Pick, with Bournemouth v Palace on Saturday 20 June on the Beeb. Co...

Re: 2019/20 Season - How will it end?

Three Charlton players aren't going to play when the season resumes, including Lyle Taylor. His contract is up at the end of the season. And QPR are 'vehemently opposed' to the restart date of 20 June.

Re: The most charismatic/moronic fan we have or have ever had

Amazingly, nothing found on the internet to prove this story about the sea king and the abseil into the ground. Nothing about the 2 helicopters either but I have a photo of that. My God, weren't the noise and the vibrations from the two copters absolutely hair-raising?! Brilliant. And now we've got...

Talk that in the Championship, if all else fails, that Leeds and West Brom would be promoted, with Fulham v Preston and Brentford v Forest as one-off play-off semi-finals. Final promotion spot from those 4, with relegation to League 1 undecided yet.

Re: BFTG Brum

Once we'd got that soft, soft goal out of our heads, and Swift finally found his passing range, it was a very enjoyable second-half. Rino, Olise, Richards and Puscas were my picks, credit to Miazga too for making amends with a rather good goal. 3-1 flattered us a bit, but Birmingham looked much, muc...

Former Players' did put out quite a few ads across social media, but apparently it sold out first-day, so obviously they didn't push it after that.

What’s the public transport options between NS and St Andrews? surprisingly poor, to my knowledge. there is a semi-parliamentary train that runs to Bordesley only on matchdays, last train leaving Moor Street to arrive at about half two. There are buses, but I don't really go to that part of town ou...
