Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham united (a)

Yeah so am I. It was an ugly win. Who cares? Me. It doesn't show signs of any lessons being learnt or significant improvements. Have you seen any of the other top sides this season? In particular Swansea and Norwich. Unless you are Man City all promoted sides have at least half a dozen games where ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham united (a)

Wonder how many games Swansea have unconvincingly scraped a 1-0, Norwich got a ‘lucky’ win or Watford have bored the shit out of everyone and scored a 1-0 win with a pen etc It’s what you need to do tbh, esp with players not on top form We were berating them for losing out to Millwall in a similar ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham united (a)

We won! And I didn't go through the 90 minutes of anguish and frustration. This works for me Looking forward to not watching the next game :) Yeah I watched too and looking forward to not watching on Tuesday night. Felt somewhat liberated just watching it via SSN and occasionally checking in ...

Re: Rival Watch

Pearson’s done absolute bits to turn around that Bristol side  Tbh I checked the stats after 45 mins after Bristol hadn’t even had a shot on goal. Sounds like a total smash and grab but will take it Whilst were on about stats - Cardiff didn’t have a shot second half. It does seem they’ve been ...

CountryRoyal An important 3 points but I have zero confidence in our manager now. Hopeless man.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (a)

He's making them, yet to see him learn from them. Yeah this. It’s all well and good saying “oh it’s better to make mistakes now”, well true, but what’s to say he doesn’t keep making them? Pauno has definitely deserved until the end of the season, but at present we are the architects of our own down...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham united (a)

Happy with Meite coming back on the bench to start with. Desperately need him fit. He scores goals, and important ones at that. Its not really like any team has outplayed on this recent crap run, and we've still created chances and scoring opportunities. At least with him and Puscas back, we have 3 ...

Re: Rival Watch

Always thought that Cardiff were massively underperforming this season. Ojo/Moore/Wilson is a very good front line, and they've lots of decent champ players like Vaulks and Morrison in there. Can definitely see them making the POs. Barnsley - I just get the feeling they'll get found out at some stag...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (a)

I can't remember who it was we played not long ago where their keeper seemed to just wait for a ball to fall in his arms rather than jumping to catch it assertively, and in that time i think Holmes popped his head in and would've scored had it not been for a hand on the line. Forest Haven't actuall...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (a)

Oh for a winger to get in behind when the other team are defending in numbers. Agreed, Aluko took on his man a couple of times and crossed it in but it wasn’t nearly enough Wonder what Hound thinks to your point  I don't massively disagree tbh (and actually SCR's post above was pretty spot on...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (a)

I wouldn't bother. It was shit, manager had a shocker, team had a shocker, we move on. Probably for the best, for my sanity and everyone else’s too  Can you bring yourself to watch the Rotherham game? My only option is to spend £10 on iFollow, so, absolutely not yeah same. First one I've misse...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham united (a)

Rotherham played a 3-5-2 tonight so would look to match them. Advocated this formation as a temporary measure before Wycombe as I don’t feel the 4-2-3-1 is currently serving us well, and support it even more so after tonight’s result. Would be tempted to start Joao from the bench for this one but P...

Re: Rival Watch

IIRC we’ve dropped out of the playoffs for only one match day so far this season (between Brentford and Luton) After that, we went on a solid run, with a record of 4-2-0, so perhaps you’re right that the closer the chasing pack get, the quicker we’ll kick back into form Weren’t those the 6 games Sw...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham united (a)

He's given himself a problem with playing Moore again last night. McIntyre is no more than a fill in LB, not as good as Gibson there and certainly not up to Richards on any kind of form. Holmes seems to have no confidence to try to overlap or cross on the other side for all his other attributes. But...
