Re: How likely is it that the Dai s will cash in their ownership ?

The sooner we get someone not hell bent on sacking managers every five minutes, and willing to run the club on a more sustainable footing the better. arguably the manager sacking hasn't been particularly harmful Stam was sacked too late, but we've slowly progressed from pretty much the rock bottom ...

Re: How likely is it that the Dai s will cash in their ownership ?

Cash in? How exactly do you sell a massive financial black hole - and to whom? Surely the world is running out of the type of idiots who want to see their money washed away down football's plughole? dunno, its a drop in the ocean to them. Its like buying an expensive car. you know its a waste of mo...

Re: How likely is it that the Dai s will cash in their ownership ?

I guess some of the speculation comes from not really knowing what their motivation for owning the club was Very much doubt it was to try to make money out of it as such. Doesn't seem to be much chance of them being rich fans like Morris at Derby. It seems to be as much about having the status of ow...

Re: Contract situation at end of 2020/21 season.

admit not being paying a lot of attention recently - has Tetek signed a new contract?

just skimming through GetReading and he isn't mentioned in the ooc players, and JLow says he has a contract to 2023

Re: Pauno out

It's pretty embarassing that in a season where we finish 7th/8th, this 'Pauno out' thread has reached 13 pages. What a load of dribbling nonsense. disagree, irrespective of what sort of season we've had. 1 win in 11? There wouldn't be a club in the country that wouldn't have a proportion of fans ca...

Re: Rival Watch

Simmops Rotherhams run in of 11 games in 33 days has killed them. 1 win in 11.

It’s also because they are rubbish

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h)

Feel Pauno will really want to win this. I can’t see him changing things up too much tbh

I’m not sure I’d want him to either actually. Everyone’s getting a nice 6 week rest after this so may as well try to go out with a bit of a bang

Re: Where do we go from here 21/22 season?

It's pretty simple IMO. If you have wide attackers who want to cut inside on their stronger foot because they're inverted, you need full backs who are willing to go beyond on the outside. If you have wide attackers who want to get to the byline and cross, you want full backs who can cross from deep...

yeah its pretty promising. Swift being 25 is also a little bit of an eye opener - he really does seem to have been around forever (and normally out with a hammy strain)

Re: Rival Watch

Brentford financially are in good shape I imagine. Sell Toney and they'll have another 20m in the bank, plenty enough to find a replacement. I can't see them not being strong in the champ next year Swansea won't be as strong I doubt. Would their parachute's stop next year, or is that already up? Bou...

Re: Where do we go from here 21/22 season?

It’d be interesting to see how he got on playing wide right instead of left Weirdly I don’t remember him ever playing there. I actually think he is pretty right footed - I guess quite a lot of the come-inside-rather-than-down-the-flank is because of that Meite is actually pretty similar - he nearly ...

Re: Where do we go from here 21/22 season?

To anyone saying we dont have proper wingers, we have coaches who could presumably coach players into being wingers. Aluko is capable of running down the wing and crossing, as should be Olise. Ejaria is capable of doing it. You work with the players you've got. You tell them what to do in a game, a...

Re: Where do we go from here 21/22 season?

You can't fault Ejaria for trying. But his application is too often poor. Take one of Narch's goals for example. He was back defending in the RB slot. = committed. But he was weak and failed to stay goal side = application. I think thats a fairly rare example of his defensive side costing us a goal...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (a)

We’ve also picked up a poor habit of not holding onto leads - that’s Swansea, Norwich, Barnsley since the last break Countered a little with a couple of last minute equalisers but still it’s an area we were very strong early season that we seem to have lost Definitely gone a bit ‘soft’ in the last f...

Re: Pauno out

That would be good news after Stranded's analysis of the next season for teams who finish 7th recently. EdIt: finishing 8th, not Pauno getting sacked. Which would be an even bigger abomination than Bowen going and the absolute death of the soul of the club. So you think 1 win in 11 if we don't beat...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (a)

Would we have had more faith in Bowen, had we finished say 10th? Or more with Pauno currently? I know it’s a lot of ifs buts & maybes, but it’s interesting to know. I’m far from sold on Pauno...tactically & substations wise. And I had more faith that Bowen knew what he was doing & under...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (a)

Can anyone recall a loan signing that hasn`t been total dogshit? Oliveira, Baker, Martinez, Ejaria, Pele, miazga. And that’s within the last 3 years. Don’t think the loanees this year have been ‘total dogshit’ either tbh Where is Miazga now? would love him back here again. No idea tbh. Germany some...
