Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

Royal Rother You’ll win nothing with youngsters.

Seriously, I hope they do get given a proper chance to learn, grow, shine in the 1st team.

But they won’t.

Mason Greenwood will be in the reckoning...not sure on the others

He sat Skriniar on his arse a couple of times (I know, pre-season)

17-year-old Mason Greenwood will be part of the first-team squad next year 18-year-olds Gomez, Chong and Garner look promising but need Championship loans Gomez has captained England at under-16, under-17 and under-18 levels. Re: The generic transfer thread

It prooves how insane football is that Harry Maguire is being rated more expensively then De Ligt.... I always said that the 1 transfer that started all this and ruined all transfer fees forever was when DARREN PFUCKING BENT went 30 million. That is a misunderstanding of a transfer fee. Maguire isn...

From Despair To Where? Has anyone read any of his books, they appear to be out of print.

I do like this review from Amazon though

Does for the English language what the Luftwaffe did to Coventry.

They used to read them out on Widicoombe's football podcast...

Peter Storey- full back or CDM

After retiring from football he was convicted of various criminal offences; including keeping a brothel, smuggling pornographic movies and was jailed for three years for financing a plot to counterfeit gold coins.

Re: The generic transfer thread

De Ligt to earn up to €416k a week, including bonuses should Juventus win the CL. He's 19. If he turns out to be shite* they won't be able to get rid of him as no one will pay that amount of wage United are experiencing this at the mo with the likes of Sanchez and Lukaku, PSG with Neymar etc

Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

United's first eleven genuinely looks dogshit. Four players away from competing from top four How much? £200m? Will they trust Ole with that much? Will they be able to attract 4 players of the calibre needed to mount a challenge? Dunno...but you're prolly right with the 200M CB - someone like Magui...

Re: The generic transfer thread

exactly my reasoning...would rather Koulibally, Varrane or Skriniar etc but they're difficult to get Prem proven, dominant in the air and what you said! I've read that Varrane's buy out clause is something like £400m. Good luck with that. release clauses are a legal requirement in Spanish contracts...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Think Maguire will end up at United for 75M In this day and age I don't see that as too bad a figure to be honest. He's been largely excellent and is probably just the type of player United need. His performance against City towards the end of last season was so good and he's at a great age to step...
