Where as a spotty yoof, I was standing.

Walls collapsing, Oxford Road shops getting steamed, buses getting pelted......the African/Jamaican community forming a possee outside of a Reggae record shop to take on the beying mob.

Them were the days.....

Re: Elm Park Years

Yeah, similar experiences...same games Lux. The Burnley reference to ‘trouble’ was a bit exaggerated and isolated tbf. The league cup 1-2 game (Burnley were sitting in the top three of the old Division One at the time and full of mainly Welsh internationals)....the left hand side of the SB...a few B...

Re: Elm Park Years

Yeah, pre-segregation Saw lots (and lots) of games in the 70s when fans from either team (and even fans from neither team...maybe a London team/Aldershot/Oxford game had been called off...so they all piled in to EP Northampton fans being one that comes to mind) could stand anywhere....only really re...

Platypuss
AthleticoSpizz Can only be, unless it was from M275 to the A3M

That'd be A27. M27 ends at M275 (J12).
yeah, (a bit dubious seeing as the two roads meet and split right at the end where the M27 ends) but regardless, meant just after the Farnham/ Gosport J11 where the restrictions end anyway.

Re: The Non - League thread

Thatcham Town lose their (only) second fixture of the season v Brizzul Manor Farm (yet still remain top)

No dramas but, BMFs winner came from their goalkeeper...a shank down the pitch that trickled over the line following some defensive confusion and lethargy.

Re: Reading FC Womens World

Wow

Since when were headers classed as handballs?

Agreed, poor decision....VAR would’ve admonished the ‘offender’ .......but VAR is still not the ultimate answer...it interrupts and is looking too hard at reasons not to award goals...it is also embarrassing
