Re: Next Manager

If it is going to be Bowen they why didn't they announce him as soon as Jose was sacked?

Almost hints at our first / second / third choice replacements have turned us down so Bowen is the only one left on the list.

Re: Next Manager

Has any team unveiled a new manager at the weekend? Guess we'll have to wait until Monday at the earliest to discover our new manager.

The front runner in the betting has changed hands a few times hasn't it? Wonder how the club have managed to keep it a secret til now?

Re: Next Manager

If the board are seriously considering hiring Roy Keane and to a lesser extent Mark Hughes it would suggest to me that the players have been taking the piss a bit or the previous management gave them too much rope. Lack of discipline perhaps? There isn't an obvious firebrand or trouble maker in the...

Congratulations, you are the new Reading manager

As Reading still haven't announced a new manager here is your opportunity to pitch for the job. What formation would you play (a different one for home and away matches perhaps)? Which players would you drop and why? Are there any of the exiled players you would reinstate or anyone you want to promo...

Re: Next Manager

Remember how we signed Joao a couple of days after we played against his then-team Sheffield Wednesday? So last Saturday we played Bristol City, and you know Lee Johnson? Well... His dad, Gary, is the manager of Torquay United and his win percentage is currently over 50% Just saying. (In truth it's ...

Re: Next Manager

Jose's sacking was probably one of the worst kept secret for a long while. Everyone knew on Sunday but it wasn't announced until Wednesday. As there had been such a delay do we really think it was due to thrashing out a severance deal or do we think the owners have already settled upon a replacement...

Re: Next Manager

Ian Holloway is available and being talked up by our own Charlie Adam for the Sunderland job. Holloway was interviewed earlier on Talksport and it sounds like he would be keen to get back into management, Sunderland and Millwall were both discussed.

Re: BFT ???????????????????????????????????????????

Guess it's like working in a team in an office. If you work with the same people day in, day out then you get to know their strengths and weaknesses plus how they will react in certain situations. If however, when you turn up at work there is a totally different team there every day then you wouldn'...

Re: CONFIRMED - Yakou Meite

Old Man Andrews Meite was very good at the back end of last season and literally won us games on his own so he has a lot of credit in the bank with me.

It was his combination with Barrow that worked well, shame he's now gone

Re: BFT whatever the hell that was

I think the Blackburn colours were atrocious, grey with green socks, no excuses but might explain some of our passes straight to their players. Actually I did think that myself. Surprised it was allowed , such poor contrast. But you’d expect them to then pass balls to us to. Agree on both of these ...

Re: New chant ideas

It is noticeable that not many of the current crop of players have chants, however the ones we've recently let go/exciled do - Gunter, McCleary, Barrow, Bodvarsson.

Can only think of (We've got) Meite and (Johnny, Johnny, Johnny) Swift with songs.
