Ascotexgunner Decent ball from the show pony, Puscas got a bit lucky there but not complaining.

Re: BFTG - HULL CITY (AWAY)

You 3 are genuinely nuts if you think Gunter should be used. Howe is probably second choice and I know I would rather see someone fighting to make their break in football over a "never quite good enough" RB who has been banished from first team training. Gunter playing in the U23s today (...

Re: Liam Moore “My Captain”

Oilroyal 2 games in and both been below his high standard. Need him back to his best for Cardiff

If Moore did get dropped (big if) or injured (perish the thought), who do we think would take over as on-pitch captain in his absence?

And we're only 6 points off top.

Plus we are no longer bottom, now 22nd and up 2 places from last week. Give it 10 weeks and we'll be sat 2nd.

Was Boye coming off at half-time simply tactical or was he injured?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Hull City (a) sponsored by Nigel Adkins

While many of us like the idea (personally I think its a necessity), has Gomes ever indicated that he's particularly a fan of 3 at the back? Thought he went that route a couple of times away from home towards the end of last season (Norwich maybe?). Think he used Yiadom as the third centre back Yep...

Re: Rumour - Ovie Ejaria

Ejaria should be the last. If we can then manage to shift one it two, that would be the perfect window. Important to get rid of popa. Don't want him corrupting our new lad. Does that mean we should stop Popa playing in the U23s then, just in case he introduces the 17-year-olds to booze and fags? (I...

Re: Rumour - Rafael Cabral

It's got to be bailed on that Virginia goes back to Everton if we sign a new keeper. Walker was atrocious against Chelsea, but has otherwise had a decent pre-season from what I saw. And as others say, no point Virginia being here to sit on our bench. Everton get nothing out of that. Sending him bac...

Re: BFTG - Sheffield

Everyone will see different things depending on where they were sat but there were 14 Reading players out on the pitch today and the two that everyone appears to be focusing on are Virginia (a strange signing admittedly though the criticism on here is a bit harsh) and Adam (pleasantly surprised at h...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield Wednesday (h) sponsored by new season optimism

It almost felt like the centre backs didn't trust the keeper as they often headed it out rather than letting him come and take is it (especially just before they scored from the corner)

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield Wednesday (h) sponsored by new season optimism

Reading could have had a couple of penalties (looked like hand ball on the line plus there was someone flattened in the area just before half-time). Think we do miss a 'proper' striker as a focal point. For their goal it looked like Moore did that falling over thing that he does but ref gave nothing.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield Wednesday (h) sponsored by new season optimism

They're talking about the championship on Talksport just now. They picked 5 clubs to talk about and at the end, Jason Cundy said what about Reading? I saw them play on Sunday and I was really impressed with how they passed the ball through the middle and that we've made some good signings. He expec...
