Re: BFTG Birmingham

Just watched the highlights. I didn’t realise at the time, but it was shocking goalkeeping by Rafael for the 2nd. Looked like a cracking free kick, but should have been comfortably saved. Rafael was that side of the goal and dived with his wrong hand. There is no such thing as "diving with you...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (h) sponsored by Martin Hicks

In his brief period Charlie Adam showed us exactly what we were missing - some class and creativity in midfield.

Quite rare that can directly blame tactics for a result, but today the switch to 4-4-2 was disastrous.

NewCorkSeth I'd like to repeat my opinion that Boye is a fraud. Everything he touches turns to shit.

100% agree - he cost us the Leeds game with his laziness and adds nothing going forward

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (h) sponsored by Martin Hicks

The crowd are full of shit. You got me with that argument McCleary over hits it at one end and dives, not a foul, crowd unhappy. McCleary wipes out a player on the edge of the box, foul, crowd sulk because it's given. Ref spot on both times. Yep, classic crowd moaning when ref was fine. Almost move...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (h) sponsored by nothing to lose

Tonight we were absolutely shafted by a loser called Boye. Not only did he make a horrific lame error that cost us the game, but his laxidasical efforts after that showed no desire to make amends. I hope we never see the Argentinian in a Reading shirt ever again. Erm... I mean, I kinda agree with t...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (h) sponsored by nothing to lose

At home you need to show a bit of desire and attack, not sit back the whole game hoping for a point. Really disappointed how timid we were, gonna lose 19/20 playing like that. Overall, individuals played ok, Gunter very good, Ejaria good moments, Swifts corners crap. Tactics 1/10 for effort. Absolu...

Re: If Reading didn’t exist

I would be a Leicester fan.

Returned from uni in early 2000's and Reading became my main team.

Can't complain as has been a great two decades to be a Reading fan, but would have been something else if I'd stuck to Leicester....

Re: BFTG - Luton

Whenever we win well people say we were playing a very poor side. There is no doubt that Luton are limited but I think we would have beaten almost any Championship team playing like that today and so to me it is about how well we played and not how poor Luton were. The question is can we play that ...

NewCorkSeth Couldn't watch as I had to go to a gender reveal party. Anyone fancy giving a detailed summary?

I’m all for prioritising family/friends, but this is pretty embarrassing. Do people really do such things?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1998%E2%80%9399_Reading_F.C._season#Results_2 First season at the Mad Stad fixtures, results and goal scorers. Certainly wasn't as bad as I had remembered. Shaky two opening games, and other than Bristol Rovers hitting us for six we were fairly solid throughout. Was at...

Re: QPR H Boxing day now 7.30pm live on SKY

Really weird from Sky but oh well. Also, I really don't get the issue with moving the kick off time? It's only a few hours later than previously advertised and if people can't make it they can watch on the TV. Because people have kids. And taking kids to an afternoon boxing day game, quite possibly...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (h) sponsored by a new hope

GTFI!!!!!! Nothing quite like a last ditch winner as the clock strikes 5. Decent performance today - 0-0 would have been fair enough as did not create a great deal, but competitive. What a boost to get the late winner. Who was the legend that hit the pile driver that got parried? I’ve seen two game...

Old Man Andrews Rafael

Gunter
Moore
Miazga
Richards

Rinomhota
Olise
Swift

Ejaria
Baldock
Boye

Fully behind this side. Gunter has been our best player for the past 4-5 season, disgrace he was sidelined.
