Re: Modou Barrow

I don’t think his time has passed. Different manager now who may get more out of him. We are so short of genuine wingers and pace that it would seem a no brainer to keep him unless he has issues with the club. We’ll probably sign some in the summer though The thread is mainly about whether we could...

Re: Leeds (A) Saturday February 22nd

Btw, my post may have sounded like I was defending Leeds. Most certainly not; they're a vile, arrogant club. They believe that being a bigger club gives them a god given right to play in the Premier League; it doesn't. They sneer at supporters of smaller clubs. Well oxf*rd you all, I'm proud to sup...

Re: Elm Park Years

Darren Wood was a whole-hearted if limited central defender who had come through a serious knee injury (iirc) and came to us from Chesterfield??; . His last game for chestefield was against us, when we sent them down on the last day. They were 2-0 up at half time, and we won 4-2 (and we'd have been...

Re: Bowen Out.

Since Bowen started he has had a hooneymoon period though. You would expect him to have a good three of four games where the players play better than average, as they have a new boss to impress. Adjusting for that, is it that impressive? It is solid. Next season he won't have a honeymoon period. An...

Good to see some of the comments on Barrow. Much underrated imo. Would be happy to see him return if not this season then certainly in August.

Re: Bowen Out.

Good stuff snowers. Bowen certainly knows how to set us up away from home. Those away stats are excellent especially when you consider we have played Fulham, Brentford, Millwall, Preston and Cardiff in that run. We need to improve at home. We seem to start very slowly and allow away sides to settle ...

Puscas subbed at half time. Can’t see him starting up and coming games.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (a) sponsored double header part 2

sandman FFS not another game in this awful and meaningless competition.

We've given both Cardiff and Blackpool plenty of chances to put us out of the bloody thing and they just wouldn't flaming take them.

As a Reading fan tell the truth. Did you enjoy that?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (a) sponsored double header part 2

Well said. Greatest competition in all of sports. It’s a shame well now face a strong Sheff Utd with a weakened team of our own. Think Bowen will go for it with a full strength side. Chance for us to progress in front of a decent home crowd. I think Walker and Richards will play but most of the oth...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (a) sponsored double header part 2

Well that was brilliant. To come back from 2 down and again from 3-2 down was superb Fair play to Osho stepping up and taking a pen As with Ian I tip my hat to Yaks. For someone who lacks finesse he has scored some belters for us and that late late goal was a cracker. He must play upfront from now o...

Hound Meite’s on one of his runs again - yes him and Baldock prob the way forward

Don’t fancy us in the pens tbh

It was a brilliant finish. We have scored three cracking goals and gifted them two. I will be sick if we go out tonight.
GMac score and Flint misses.

Snowflake Royal Fookin love Meite. He's not the most finessed, but he's undoubtedly effective.

Give me him over Puscas any day.

Old Man Andrews Which bellend on here said Meite wasn't a good finisher or a natural striker??

I’ve said for a long time that he is a striker. Forget playing him on the wing. He is tailor made to be an old fashioned centre forward.
