Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a) sponsored by Simon Osborn

I haven’t seen tonight’s game but beginning to think we need to drop Morrison. Should we continue playing three centre backs? It limits what we can do elsewhere on the pitch. Rinomhota appears to have been poor again. Time for change. Definitely. 3 at the back really isn’t working. Haven’t scored w...

Re: BFTT Barnsley

Agreed. Five at the back is too restrictive. I really want us to play authentic wingers as well.

Can’t help but feel our owners must be feeling short changed. All the money pumped in and we are still really struggling.

Piss poor from what I can gather. It’s a point though. That’s just about all that can be said.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a) sponsored by Simon Osborn

Ascotexgunner Top priority in the transfer window should be two wide players like old fashioned wingers....until we do that we will be stuck with the same old pointless one dimensional shite.....I honestly feel Puscas might look a better player.

Yep.No wingers. No pace. We miss Barrow.

Not able to watch but again we seem to be giving away a lot more free kicks than the opposition according to the stats.

Re: Speculation - Andy Rinomhota

Probably slightly controversial and I wouldn't expect everyone to agree, but I feel Rino has hit a bit of a plateau with us. I don't think he has been particularly good this year, and not sure he'll ever repeat how he got on last season. Still a useful player no doubts, but I think some of his limi...

Snowflake Royal Cabral
Yiadom
Obita
Miazga
Morrison
Moore
Pele
Rinomhota
Swift
Baldock
Joao

In the 5-3-2 is my pick of our best XI. Though a 4-3-3 with Miazga and Moore, and Baldock left, Meite right would be decent too.

No Ejaria?

Re: BFTG Birmingham

Just watched the highlights. I didn’t realise at the time, but it was shocking goalkeeping by Rafael for the 2nd. Looked like a cracking free kick, but should have been comfortably saved. Rafael was that side of the goal and dived with his wrong hand. Yep. At the time I thought it was a good free-k...

Re: BFTG Birmingham

Playing Rinomhota and Pele is fine away at Leeds but at home to Birmingham no chance. Bowen should have started with Adam and then brought on Olise when Adam tired. If you have no creativity in midfield where are the chances coming from? Don't see how you can start with Adam. The guy plays walking ...

Re: BFTG Birmingham

Just seen the free kick again. Rafael should have done better imo. Nope top corner. Thought his starting position was poor. Let the wall do its job and protect the other side. Saying that there was crazy dip and it was an excellent shot, but start one step nearer that corner and you've got a chance...

15000 + crammed into the South Bank for the 14th game of that winning run v Wolves, promptly followed by a return to the 5000 or so for the next home game  Yes I was there that night. Same season. Walsall away. Feb 86. Lost 6-0. Bitterly cold. I was sitting behind Branfoot shouting come...
