Re: CONFRIMED: Latest rumours Confrimed as Unconfrimed

Mid Sussex Royal Matt Hughes (London journo) reporting Roger Smee planning late bid....

Smee to the rescue (part 2)

Yes please be true Brit, a past Reading great and former savior of the club. Never forget that thunderbolt shot that almost got us a win at Maine Road in the FA Cup.

Re: Players on international duty

Too many foreign players = too many games postponed = too many potential injuries, and too much player downtime.

Time to stop cheap foreign imports and invest more in British talent.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stockport County (a)

I remember games against Stockport in the 90's, and particularly an envy of their striker, Kevin Francis. At the time I thought he was immense, and always played well against us. Left football and ended up a mountie (well not quite)... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4036142/Life-final-whi...

Re: CONFRIMED: Latest rumours Confrimed as Unconfrimed

Discuss: Overall, we'd have been better off building an 18k seater stadium in the town centre? Correct, we should never have left Elm Park. If we had stayed at Elm Park, we would very likely be in a similar league position to Torquay United now - we may end up even lower than that by the time the p...

Re: CONFRIMED: Latest rumours Confrimed as Unconfrimed

Can you imagine how unbearable this last year would have been under another Ince or Gomes in the Championship with a load of shit over the hill journeymen like Hendrick stinking the place out with losses week after week, instead of a decent side full of exciting young talent doing ok in L1? The few...

Re: CONFRIMED: Takeover collapsed; Back to square one

I think the acceptance stage is not when you when you "accept" anything that might happen, it's when you accept there's little or nothing you can do about it, so constant anxiety is pointless. You accept the situation, not the outcome.[/quote ]I've had actual depression and anxiety before...

Re: CONFRIMED: Takeover collapsed; Back to square one

PieEater It sounds Dai wanted to sell to someone who would let him keep control or at least reap some reward from a new buyers efforts. No chance of that.

Once you sell you need to walk away. It also doesn't stack up with him wanting to sell the training ground.

Re: #SellBeforeWeDai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group

Caroline Parker from SBWD just on Sky Sports News, she again reiterated the point about the funding of the club before she was cut off for a commercial break. In the defence of Sky Sports News they did have to cover Man City as they've got breaking news in relation to two players who have knee stra...

Re: UnConfimred new owners of Raeding Footbal Club

What use are either of those without the club. The stadium can only be used for football as it's an asset of community value. So it's worthless to him. Even if he did tried selling it to property developers the fans have the first dibs in buying it. Training ground might go but who'd buy it? it's u...

Re: UnConfimred new owners of Raeding Footbal Club

It wouldn't be Championship outgoing. Administration allows you to butcher the club's operations and reduce outgoings dramatically. Plus, he would save on the £30m he's reportedly willing to pay Dai. But wouldn't own the ground or Bearwood? What use are either of those without the club. The stadium...

Re: UnConfimred new owners of Raeding Footbal Club

Probably the most likely route away from Dai's ownership is via administration. I don't know if Couhig could recall the loan to cause that to happen. Seem to recall it was reported there was some clause that Couhig would get all the shares in the club in the event of a default; may be mis-rememberi...

I nearly did when we were thrashed by a Wrexham team with a 100% British mu 21 man squad and a training staff of 100% British mu 7 men. Plus of course Parky a 100% British legend.

Don't you mean Irish? Don't engage with the thick racist arse. No, not just that...

Afobe was Dagenham born and raised. Harte and Hunt were also British. Who's left? Don't you mean Irish? The last time I looked at a map the Island of Ireland was part of the British Isles, Hunt and Hartes grand parents were born under British rule therefore qualify for British citizanship under the...
