Re: Omar Richards Contract

I did say “potential” to be our best ever left back. So he hasn’t surpassed Shorey. I don’t see any reason why he can’t play for England in 2 or 3 years time if he keeps on developing. He is still young. He’s been in the England setup for a while as well I think so they’ll be watching closely and I...

Re: Omar Richards Contract

Olise is a big call, he knows there is the interest out there, it`s difficult to see us keeping hold of him next summer if a very big offer comes in, am I right in saying he can go for nothing if he plays out his contract till 2022? You are correct. Unless we get promoted i can see him signing a ne...

Re: How good is Yakou Meite?

I agree with the above that he’s a steal and we’re lucky to have him. I don’t think his technical ability quite matches the rest of him and it makes him look a bit ragged at times. I think he’s quite a smart footballer as in he knows what he needs to do, where he needs to be and how he needs to do ...

How good is Yakou Meite?

I've been thinking this for a while, and after a goal and an assist today I'm going to say it. Meite on a free is one of our best signings in the past 10 years or so. And he just keeps proving anybody who doubts him wrong. When we signed him he looked incredibly raw, hence we barely saw him at first...

It's close. Will Joao have suitors? How much should we hold out for if so? How screwed would we be without him?

Re: BFS - Bristol City (H)

Also, kudos to Pauno who seems to be the first manager in years to make decisions which are quite obviously right. Dropping Esteves after Bournemouth and bringing in Olise after Millwall were screamingly obvious decisions, but so many managers seem incapable of doing what should be easy.

Re: BFS - Bristol City (H)

Some things never change. We're playing better, are higher in the table and are winning more games. But Tomlin and Wells have still both found a way of scoring against us this year.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (h) sponsored by Scott Murray

I have a sneaky suspicion that Semedo will start in place of Olise again. I think perhaps the issue Pauno has with Olise is that he tends to go where he wants? As a fan I love seeing Olise popping up all over the shop, trying to get the team moving but I wonder if Pauno wants a more rigid structure...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bournemouth (a) sponsored by Jimmy Quinn

After the Cardiff and Watford games, I really thought we'd found a bit of toughness this season. But the last 4 games suggest it was a mirage. Old issues resurfacing; I see no reason why Pauno can fix what so many others have failed to.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bournemouth (a) sponsored by Jimmy Quinn

1st 45 absolutely textbook against a quality team. 2nd half clearly not as good, but there are not many teams at this level who could score 3 goals of that quality. We certainly couldn't.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bournemouth (a) sponsored by Jimmy Quinn

Many more Rafael errors and Southwood must be due a chance Yep he’s becoming a liability. Mannone was hammered on here for less. He was looking excellent until recently so he deserves patience. But the likes of Hart, De Gea and arguably Pickford have shown keepers can have long term dips in form. R...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bournemouth (a) sponsored by Jimmy Quinn

CountryRoyal Pauno takes the blame for this. Should have changed it after half time.

How? We looked comfortable. Ultimately Aluko and Esteves didn't react to their change and switched off.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bournemouth (a) sponsored by Jimmy Quinn

Bournemouth look good but we've largely kept them at arms length. We look good on the break. In addition to a lovely second goal we've made some other chances; if Semedo had scored his header it would have been a great goal too. Ejaria mostly quiet but made the difference with his moment.

Re: England - the future....

Our problem this evening is we only have one World class player on the pitch, the rest of them are extremely average footballers who wouldn't get in any of the other top 5 ranked national teams. Rice can fcuk off Kyle Walker can do one Eric Dier needs to go away Mings is a Championship player That'...
