Re: Are we screwed?

jose was wrong. couple this statement with his we need to sort our transfers early statement that he made at the end of last season, he must be pretty pissed off If Derby are interested in Jose, as a potential Lampard replacement, it’s hard to see him turning them down considering the mess we’re in...

Re: League Cup 1st Round

Give us O*ford at home, please. We are long overdue a local derby, against that scummy club. I don't really feel anything towards Oxford or Swindon tbh. We've been above them for so many years that some of our supporters will have never seen us play them. True. I have lasting memories of our last t...

Re: Financial Fair Play

I’m fully expecting the club to take another hard line, as we did in January, to get players out. Gourlay has caused long lasting damage to this club, and needs must. The likes of Gunter, perhaps McCleary, need to move on. Big earners and neither required or as useful to us as they once were. Kelly ...

He won’t go to Leeds. He knows they’ll fall apart again.

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Ericsson have recently returned to Reading (Thames Tower) having off-shored their telecoms teams to Bangalore, India in 2014. SSE also recently moved their head office to Reading, by the Forbury. These would be non offensive sponsors, however unlikely they might be. Knowing us it’ll be Plumb and Plu...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Where are the one or two usual reliables who hear something about the home/away kits? It’s bad enough this is a very quiet summer so far, but it seems HNA is following suit.

CountryRoyal
Horsham Royal I very much trout he'll end up here.

I can see Arsenal loaning him out to a team in Franz.

Can you? He said himself he’s fed up of loans and wants to either get a chance at Arsenal, or he wants to move on permanently.

Re: Next Seasons Kit

so we are big and important enough to change our kits every season now then? Whatever happened to that old two-season assurance Crikey, we haven’t followed that for over a decade and some. Simpler times I guess, Wallsy. I agree though that it’s a rip off. Today it’s all about making money, and not ...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Anticipation doesn’t really build though. The club just lose a month or more of warm weather where kids would be bagging their parents for the new kits. I’d also suggest we ended the season with a real feel-good factor around the place again. What a great time to release the kits, as others do. Earl...

Re: Rumour - Ben Heneghan

Former target whilst playing in Scotland. No surprise that we are linked again now that Howe is back at the club.

Impressed on loan at Blackpool last season. A leader and a strong chap by all accounts.

Would be cheap. A traditional Reading signing.

Kit reveal is traditionally and consistently late July, despite fans requests to bring it forward so it can go on sale earlier in the summer. Credit to Jonathan Low if he’s heard it’ll be brought forward this year, but he’s not the most useful of sources. There'll probably be an announcement in a c...

Re: Celtic Eye Moore

To be honest, if we are seriously thinking that one of our players wouldn't swap bottom half Championship football and year-on-year relegation fights for European football and consistent silverware, then we are pretty deluded as a fanbase. Compared to us, maybe. But it’s not deluded to think he’d c...

Re: Celtic Eye Moore

CountryRoyal Moore wouldn’t go to the SPL, he’s more ambitious than that.

Don’t be silly. He’d snap their arm off. Doesn’t matter that it’s a shambles of a league, it’s trophies, CL football... It’s a platform he can shine on and get a bigger PL move in a couple of years.
