Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (h)

A real Smash and grab first half. Need to do better in the second half. Young should probably come off at HT for WiFi. On a yellow had a couple of clumsy challenges after too.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (h)

Local media, the club, and manager trying the big this one up as some sort of massive rivalry  . Yes, geographically this might constitute being called a ‘derby’ but there is zero rivalry. Leam quoted in the week saying he wants us to have the bragging rights when we all go into work on Monday...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (a)

No-one seems to have picked up on this, but a Wigan fan died at the game. My condolences to their family and friends. No-one should be dying at a football match. https://x.com/LaticsOfficial/status/2021562362512208147 Many many years ago my friends dad had a heart attack just as he walked up the hi...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (a)

Hound thinks it was a 3-4-2-1... but Nyambe barely crossed the halfway line first half whilst § Doyle and Lane drifted from left wing to AM to right wing, often both in the same place at the same time and leaving oxf*rd enormous holes in their wake. Hell, they both came into wingback or DM position...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (a)

Think you’re being a little harsh on Doyle, progressed well after a disappointing start. Picks up pockets of space well and is often the “link” from defence to attack on the occasions we do put together a move Particularly in away games where there’s a bit more space to play in. 3 assists in his la...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (a)

Ward did look good. Aggressive as well. Couple of mistakes but lots of potential It was a shame not to see Young. Lane, Doyle and Ritchie all too similar and just don’t do enough for me. Would play one of those plus Kelvin and Young. Think we’d be a far more interesting watch We don’t look miles of...
