IMO the most important player will always be a goalkeeper. He has more saves per match than any striker has chances ( er, I reckon). Having a solid, confidence- inspiring goalie is the most important element. Therefore I’d nominate Steve Death, Shaka, Hahnemann or, this season, Rafael. Ps Shaka numb...
