Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (a) sponsored by others slipping up, hopefully

Van Den Berg should be nowhere near the first team !! absolute pants. Really, think he’s been quite good. But then that is based on comparisons to other performances. +1 I think hes done well as well. He's shielded the back 4 brilliantly. That looked like his ribcage it hit not his arm. He's really...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (a) sponsored by others slipping up, hopefully

Sutekh Referee a bit annoying. A couple of Cardiff challenges deserving of a card but nothing and Bamba goes over and deliberately handles the ball but that’s not brought back for a free kick and another booking after Reading lost it.

I agree

Mid Sussex Royal Why do they all think we need to win?

Or perhaps of more relevance, why the hell do they think we could win?!

Re: Relegation Watch

1% equates well with the 100/1 on offer at SKY It is, of course highly likely that Sunderland and two other teams will fail more than Reading but lose to Ipswich and it might all get too real And a loss to Ipswich is really not that unlikely Although we are on a run of 5 home games unbeaten! You we...

Re: World Cup 2018

Sutekh Feel sorry that the Ox is out of the World Cup after his rejuvenation at Liverpool this season. Would have been a great option for England to take to the finals.

Such a shame. He's never played better. Hopefully he'll get another chance

Re: Rival Watch

Luton as a place was the worst I have been. Proper rough and utterly charmless. Followed by Rotherham Didn’t mind Burnley too much - stadium has a bit of charm. Found it pretty similar to all those other identikit northern places round there I think it's quaint (or at least unusual) that you have t...

Re: Relegation Watch

What are twatting on about? You do realise the Welsh clubs were invited to play in English Football League. Are are insane? Swansea have been in pl for years and haven't changed rules to Welsh football. I believe he's referring to the Welsh clubs being governed by the Welsh FA in some way still rat...

genome Fulltime Forest 3 Barnsley 0

Lovely stuff. Win on Saturday and it's job done.

Even a draw would be enough now

I now think we have enough points so could lose our last two and still stay up.

Which is probably just as well :)

Re: BFTG Wednesday (a)

There wasn't that much luck in the two clean sheets in those games. The effort the team put into defending those leads was outstanding. I don't think we'd have seen the same levels of determination with Stam still in charge. Reading - 5 shots, 1 on target, 1 goal. QPR - 27 shots, 3 on target, 0 goa...

Re: BFTG Wednesday (a)

I know this won't be a popular opinion but Stam probably would have gotten the same points haul from those fixtures. Maybe less red cards too. Stam would have lost all those games. Less red cards only because the players would give less of a shit under Stam than they seem to now. Would he? I know h...

Re: The Non - League thread

Brackley confirmed in 3rd place, at least, in the NLN, which is good news the way the play offs work and means less games.

Salford are champions - wonder if it's all been filmed for TV this season?

Re: Relegation Watch

"Despite another defeat, Reading have avoided dropping into the relegation zone. Next week's game with Ipswich Town is imperative and a win there would go a long way to securing survival." Great comments again from our local journo. So how Mr Low could Barnsley have made up 5 points on us...

Re: ArsenaLOL

I will never forget the look of regret on the face of an Arsenal supporting work colleague the morning after that 5-7 defeat to Arsenal in the league cup. The pillock had been halfway down the A33 to the train station when Koscielney made it 4-3 with a minute of normal time left. :) I will never fo...
