Re: Who is the mystery striker?

We just need to win lots of free kicks and corners. Will be incredibly difficult to defend with the height and aerial ability we have Liked big Andy a lot last year. Definitely fits the brief, another one for the fans to get behind as well Height? Other than Sarr and Dann we have very short CBs (co...

Re: Who is the mystery striker?

I'd be delighted to get him back in. Reckon he's got at least 5 goals in him Iver a season and he'll be a fantastic option for some of the beefier teams.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Watford (a)

The whole of the football programme will be canned this weekend, so whether it is better for us to be playing Watford tomorrow or not is irrelevant. ... "Your hypothetical question about whether now would have a good time to play Watford or not is irrelevant because we are not playing Watford&...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Watford (a)

So whats the consensus? Good or bad time for the Watford game to be postponed? Gives us a chance to get Meite, Long, Sarr and Loum back fit so that's a major positive. On the other hand it seems like Watford haven't figured out how to beat teams that sit back and defend. Their 3 victories have come ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Watford (a)

Away game, near or in London, opposition has decent home form? Gotta be a 1-0 win for us. McIntyre in the 18th minute. Nervy last 72 with 6 minutes added time. Corrected for you. Nope. We will look oddly comfortable until the last 10 when fatigue and accumulation of yellow cards stack up. Ince will...

Re: Ince & Ince appreciation thread.

Perhaps it's more a case that his dad has told him he'll sell him if a Premier League club come in for him?...or perhaps he just likes playing for his Dad? If that's the case, maybe we should hire some of the other players Dad's as assistant coaches? We could do with Papa Joao there every week if t...

Re: Ince & Ince appreciation thread.

I think his dad has told him he won`t get any pocket money if he doesn`t put in a shift every week. Re: Ince & Ince appreciation thread.

Just popping in to say I was wrong about Tom Ince. I said it was a poor signing, in a position we didn't need and a waste of our limited wages.

I was dead wrong. He's been such a positive influence this season. The running, the drive.. its inspiring.

Re: Rival Watch

Cardiff into the bottom 3. At least Rino will feel at home there Why the spite towards him? There seems a significant portion of people on here that seem to be practically drooling over the prospect of him, Laurent and Swift failing, despite them being important players in our continued presence in...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

From Despair To Where? There were a few "out coached by Paul Ince  " comments mixed in as well.

I get the distinct impression a lot of middling teams' fans thought we'd be an easy 6pts this season.

Thats honestly great for us.

How are Birmingham financially sound? It's weird to see then make high profile(ish) signings.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield United (a)

They look a solid team with some quality still there - likes of Norwood, Berge, McBurnie all decent player Interesting to see Luton gave them a very good game though, imagine they aren’t dissimilar to us tactics wise Still expect we’d do very very well to get anything from it. And don’t think we wi...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield United (a)

Would imagine it'll be the usual back 5, Hendrick and Loum in the middle with Hoilett and Ince given freedom up front with the idea that they chase back and help (which they often do, especially Ince), with Joao as the striker. Guess Fornah is given a rest as he is on the bench. I could see it bein...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield United (a)

Max Lowe vs Yiadom could be interesting. He's a real threat down their left so Yiadom and Holmes have to be on it today. I'm tempted to say start NGW as he is an actual LB and Baldock is hugely experienced. Maybe bring on Hoilett towards the end to bring more offensive play? The real player we need...
