Re: Who do you want in Round Three?

They beat Carlisle and I believe that of all the teams Reading have played in the league it’s Carlisle that have gone the longest gap since Reading last played against them (last game being May 1982). So who does that leave that we've never played? Salford, FGR, Morecambe, Fleetwood? Of the current...

 Nice sig. Anyway, Rochdale, home or away, don't care. We last played them 35 years ago. Re: MATCHWATCH : Plymouth Argyle (a) sponsored by Glen Little

Brilliant news for Barrett, Yak and Obita. Good to see Howe , Rino, Loader and Olise picking up minutes too. Nigel and his wife must have been proud parents tonight. Winning debut. He's Howe's nephew. I think you'll find if you're talking footballing nephews in that family, Nigel Howe is Don ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Plymouth Argyle (a) sponsored by Glen Little

For all the talk of 10 new signings stifling the academy graduates, there are a decent number proving that if you're good enough you'll get your chance. Howe, Richards, McIntyre, Rinomhota, Olise and Barrett. That's 6 players with the potential to form the nucleus of the team.

Excellent result. Some good performances from players on the cusp of the first team and 90 minutes from Obita. Couldn't ask for much more

soz, guilty as charged. Just doing an Ian (maybe try doing the  thing next time)..... Apology accepted. The team board isn't really the natural habitat for humour. Dunno m8. I've seen some laughable opinions. Yeah, but that's stupid funny, not funny funny. Anyway, much happened apart f...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Plymouth Argyle (a) sponsored by Glen Little

+1 Unlike others I never had a problem with Steve Coppell's approach to cup games. We have bigger fish to fry and these players need 1st team football. Nine changes. Utter bollox. Either take it seriously or don’t enter. Don’t waste fans time and money turning one of the only three competitions we....

Re: Sone Aluko to China!

Couldn't we convert his contract to Academy coach so it's written off against FFP and then tell him the academy has moved back to Bradfield College.

From Despair To Where? Can't see Gomes being remotely interested in Stoke. That's got Hughton written all over it.

Hell probably do a job if he goes there. Next seasons winners...

Agreed. He'll take them up then get sacked by Christmas.

Yeah, I did mean Huddersfield. Our current team is about as far removed from Stam as you could get; organised and pass the ball with purpose

Re: BFTG Huddersfield Away

Looking at the Huddersfield forum, a lot of their fans say the squad aren't fit enough and have zero creativity but still play a high pressing game. Any scout worth their salt would have spotted that and know that they run out of steam after 65 minutes. For all their possession, they created nothing...

3points Puscas looked very tired on Wednesday evening in the second half. Don’t know how much of a pre season he had in Italy

Not much I'd imagine seeing as he played in the U21s European Championship.

Re: Bowen interview

I quite like this idea of a sporting director, someone who's not involved in the day to day running of the business or the footballing side but has inside knowledge of the game who can go out and look at best practice and see how we can implement it throughout the club.
