Re: Season Tickets 23/24

It was certainly one of my considerations, yes. Club made no reference to Royalty points or priority for away games on the initial Season Ticket release which seemed strange. They’ll probably end up putting them straight on GS :| I'd be very surprised if away tickets went straight on general sale f...

Re: BFTG - Luton

I’ll be honest I totally missed the handball despite it being right in front of me. AC moves his head like he’s headed it in. I can’t work out what he is doing on it really, it’s not like he suddenly throws up a hand to knock it in Ref did well to spot it Agreed ref did well, I was right behind the...

Re: Who is the mystery striker?

I reckon it’s Andy Carroll. He is without a club and still a decent enough player at championship level if used correctly. His club Brugge chance fell through.

Other option my be Theo Walcott, he can’t get in the Southampton team, still a decent player at championship level

Silver Fox Loving the Vydra suggestion, if only because Tim Dellor might actually explode

But why? He was cr.p for us

Re: Out of Contract 2022

blythspartan As we’ll be starting preseason in around 2-3 weeks time it will be interesting to see how many players Ince will have to work with. I am hoping there’ll be some announcements in the near future.

He’ll have enough for a 3 a side

Re: Next Reading Manager

Either Mowbray or Warburton would be fine choices, they've both given stability and a degree of success and improvement to clubs in similar or arguably worse situations than ourselves. Both experienced, both understand this level of football and both are good calibre managers. Whether there may end...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Hull City (a)

Glad that season is over and we can at least enjoy it and not have to worry about the result.

Awful result yesterday. Thought we might get a draw. Guess the Swansea game too a lot out of the team.

I’d like to see some other players ie ones we are likely to keep next year play in next two games

Re: Next Reading Manager

I’d be happy with ainsworth, but would like to see how ince develops. Who knows maybe ince will work out. But you can’t miss what a fine job ainsworth has done with Wycombe on a shoestring budget against some big teams.

Re: Pauno out

I can’t go tomorrow and whilst I think we need a change of manager, I think it’s been tough for pauno to be fair. We aren’t going to get anyone else, so we just need to stick with him. If he did go, I’d get ainsworth, he’s done a brilliant job at Wycombe.

Re: Pauno out

We need to: 1) Stop using Kia Joorabchian and get someone in who knows the club, not a person who's only interest is to line his pockets and not care if the club succeeds. 2) Get a sporting director in who can be the link between manager and the board. 3) Bring some scouts to the club who can ident...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (h)

I couldn’t go tonight as have covid…on my birthday of all days. On a positive note, I didn’t watch this garbage. Glad to see Morrison back. I think over the next few games it will be good for us. I won’t obviously be at the Huddersfield game either. We need to stop the silly mistakes though. Sounded...

Re: Liam moore

Wtf, this club is in a right shambles. Why did the club post that. That’s so amateurish it’s laughable. What a stupid statement to put out. All they had to do is take the captaincy off him and give it to someone else. Everything else is kept behind closed doors. Prior to the statement the club shoul...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Kidderminster Harriers (a)

Rotating the team when we are struggling to put 11 players on the park can only mean one thing, I`m fukking sick to the back teeth of managers treating our premier cup competition with distain. Pauno has previous , he can just piss the fukk off if/when we lose and will be all over the back pages of...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Kidderminster Harriers (a)

Can we lose so Pauno is sacked? Rather concentrate on the league anyway The money from a cup run would come in handy ....... True - it's hardly ground breaking money but it will certainly help offset losses. If we win on Saturday, worth 82k in prize money, 4th round is 90k. So if we can win, get a ...

Seems like they've had a few crowdfunding exploits on the back of their IPO a few years ago. Their new site is absolutely massive and pretty impressive. Perhaps their bottling and canning lines haven't been as successful as they'd hoped. Must admit, much prefer the beers and family-run feel of Lodd...

Re: New Stadium

Has any one ever thought about what the football experience would be like if the club had built the SCL Stadium somewhere near the town centre. We always hear comments from visiting fans about the ground feeling 'soulless' and the fact its on an out of town industrial estate so it got me thinking a...

Re: BFTG - Forest

HATED the Forest kit. Good game between two good teams. Draw was a fair result. Holmes MoM. Carroll a hell of a lot more mobile than I was expecting - he runs like a stallion. Ref was shite, can't believe he gave a foul for that lovely tackle by Rahman after he put Forest in. Colback had a very goo...

Re: Former Newcastle United forward Andy Carroll has joined Championship side Reading.

This is worth it if only for the meloltdown it will create on OTIB by the Bristol City bed wetting fannies who seem to be fixated with our finances. Wow, see what you mean. They misinterpret that royals have no money. That’s only partly true as our owner is wealthy, it’s just the club as a business...
