Re: The Local Journo Thread

 Invite? Not sure you're that special mate. There's a link on the site that invites you to submit a piece. OK, I'll write a report for the Plymouth match then as I won't be going to Huddersfield unfortunately I think we all look forward to reading that. ROTFL..funniest thing I’ve read a...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Everytime I've been to the hawthorns they've been a class act. Plenty of friendly banter in the vine pre and post match and definitely without any sense of entitlement. Best club in the Midlands all day. Understatement imo, they're possibly the most likeable club (or at least fan base - the ridicul...

Not seen it mentioned here, but Meite got racially abused on twitter after the game. Please don’t joke about things like that. He’s not making a joke of it. Some prick from overseas has sent Yaks a racist tweet for missing the pen. It’s not been a happy day for Yaks. He went down the tunnel straigh...

Re: BFTG - Cardiff

:D A lucky win against a poor side. Gomes - left out Rino??? Luckily it paid off for him. Ref - gave everything our way, without him we might've struggled. Rafael 3 - dodgy punches, not convincing in an easy game for him Morrison, Miazga, Moore - 2 each. Some scary moments in defence, they almost sc...

Oviemuno Ejaria looked unplayable. And I want his children.

We also seem to have a keeper who stops goals again, which is nice.

What an absolute change in mood from the Wendy’s game. Football, eh.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by Adam Federici

Kinda scared with what Gomes will do against ‘diff. Change formation against someone going for set-piece goals?! Gulp.

For me echoes of last year when he hesitantly put in Kelly and Swift together..

Wasn't being critical. It just strikes me as a word that will get a lot of use. Hehe no worries :) I could say cohere,... any English boffins out there have a good single word we might use instead? You're right though, I think it will be a feature in our discussions for a lot of this season. Let’s ...

Trying to order a ticket under friends and family for a mate for the Cardiff game, it was quite straight forward under the old online format, just click on his name pick a seat then pay. In the new site there is no such option even though the same friend is registered under F & F. not sure what...

lightning strikes Most amazing transfer window ever, very exciting. But:

Puscus has never scored more than 10.

Dazed and can’t spell.

Well 4 from 8 international appearances sounds good, until you realise two were against Mighty Malta.. Still can’t wait to see him in hoops. :D

Re: MATCHWATCH : Hull City (a) sponsored by Nigel Adkins

Bit of a loss as to what we should do with this game. Don't believe in wholesale changes after one result or dropping people for one poor performance, but that XI against Wednesday wasn't good at all. Wonder if Boye will be in the running yet? Bench or straight in? And who for? Barrett presumably.....

Re: BFTG - Sheffield

I couldn’t believe how fast SW counter-attacks were (compared to ours) and how much space they had out wide. Felt sorry for Swift, every time he tried to find someone unmarked, he failed mostly, and got tackled dithering. Did they really have only 12 players (including the chief baboon in black)? Bo...

Just football. Like it’s just football where you can’t take alcohol into the stadium. Hardly victimisation, rugby and cricket fans can sit next to each other and have a few beers without feeling the need to fight. And yet I have never seen a half ‘n half rugby scarf. The authorities are absolutely ...
