Re: Economics

Release two or three of the higher earners. These players may have a clause whereby they don’t drop wages if we go down or can go for a reduced fee. Bring in a number of loan signings which may keep us up but either way, these players return to their clubs in the summer and the club aren’t burdened...

Re: New Centre Half

I like this signing. Seen him several times playing for USMNT and he can play. Has done well against formidable national team opponents. How well has he done exactly? Was in a USMNT group that were embarrassed in the last World Cup qualification campaign. They also only have to play against Mexico,...

Re: BFTG Derby (A)

Said this on the match thread: team selection cost us the point. Having both Bacuna and Baker in midfield was completely ineffective. Night and day after the change for the second half.

Bod should’ve gotten to at least one of those crosses.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a) sponsored by Yakubu

It was a point dropped solely due to team selection and then the bizarre Barrow sub.

Positives: Swift continues to improve and Aluko looks like a revived player.

two penalties not given. Through the benefit of iFollow and replay, the first one was a stone-cold penalty.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Brentford (a) sponsored by one pub on each corner

Overall great display. At times it felt like Brentford were playing with an extra man and only looked even after the red card. But they are a good side and while to lose the three points in that manner is bitter, I would have taken a point away at GP any day. Ezatolahi is a very welcome addition to ...

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

I really love having the commentary now. A+ Seconded. Last season it felt "lonely" not having commentary and iFollow didn't allow me to run both the audio commentary and the video stream at the same time. Big upgrade. Good luck against LA this week (not sure if you follow baseball) - Rock...

Re: Forest (A) match thread

Gunny Fishcake The irony that the day after the transfer window is we clearly need a few more players, but who's going to want to join our slow boat to nowhere ?

A player on the fringes of a good side who wants to show what they can do, who wants to play vs. ride the bench.

Re: Forest (A) match thread

Except for the fact we lost, overall it was a good game; we played well. Barrow was unplayable. But he can’t be the only outlet. Yiadom was excellent. Can’t help but feel if Swift had been in the game we would have clawed a point out of that one.

So in summary, everyone is hugely excited about this signing and we are just one more free transfer from being automatic promotion favorites!

Melton Royal Forest now 1 - 0 down and just a point above us with an inferior GD

Don't think we are ready to start looking up the table yet..

Re: MATCHWATCH : Aston Villa (a) sponsored by a night out in the Midlands

Vito doing a great job obviously having more confidence after that fine PK save. One thing I don't like is the space they are giving them into the box. Definitely they are defending much deeper than Stam ever let them do. Next 45min I fear will feel like that first PL away match at Old Trafford - st...

Re: BFG QPR

Agreed. QPR are in the bottom half and should really have won today. The stats confirm we had just 5 attempts at goal. They had a staggering 27. They dominated possession with 67%. We still switched off painfully at times. From one corner they had a player completely unmarked. Loads to work on and ...

Listening to the radio, Aidy and Gooding incensed at the style of play. All but calling for a managerial change.

I can’t blame the fans for the negativity. Extremely frustrating to watch.
