I've only read the first three pages, because I'm bored of it already, but this thread (and the NOTW article) just shows that football has a bizarre sense of morality.

Football player has (one presumes) consensual sex with a woman, films it, sends it to his friends, who then pass it on to the press - DISGRACE, fans up in arms, "sell him"! (No laws broken, as far as I can tell, and the only moral code broken is any conception of celibacy outside of marriage...)

Football club is bought by a man many accuse of serious human rights abuse in his home country, and who is wanted for serious charges of corruption - league does nothing, press say nothing, fans give him the thumbs up, "we don't care where the money comes from".

This country is mad.

James Henry is also in the squad but Kalifa Cisse (knee) is a doubt and Ibrahima Sonko (knee) is still out.

I think the reason people are so negative about this and the club clearly are as well. Is the club, a number of times have defended Leory when arguable he didn't deserve it. With the position the club are currently in we don't need stories like this. Frankly Coppell deserves better.
