Time added on winning / equalising goals

by The Real Sandhurst Royal » 07 Sep 2009 16:14

What RFC time added on winning or equalising goals can you remember.

I will start with two.

Federici 95 minute equaliser versus Cardiff Boxing Day 2008.

Stuart Lovell 94 minute winner versus Wolves April 1997.

John Polston (only goal for the club?)

Late equaliser (1-1) against some other rubbish League 1 / Division 2 team in the dark days of the early Madejski Stadium era.

That Wolves game in 97 had an equaliser and a winner in injury time. Also that equaliser must've been more like 97 minutes!

That was amazing. Beats the arse off anything else I've seen. Yes, I was at that Wigan game. Probably the only one which could rival it would be the 4-3 over Plymouth, sadly before my time.

From 2-0 down to 2-2 at Southend, scoring twice in 30 seconds (Kearns & Sanchez).

The Kearns header was a foul and I'm convinced the ref only gave it because he felt sorry for us.

From the re-start Sanchez got the ball back and thumped in the equaliser from 20-30-40 yards (pick your own - we were at the other end).
