That Friday Feeling Crikey. I'll have to keep a lid on the "incidentals".

Normally do a pint or two in the concourse and the same in the hotel after. Chuck in the odd pie and pop for the kids and I'd need a second mortgage.

On the plus side, the parking season ticket is proving good value.

You drive after having 4 pints?

papereyes
Platypuss Chuck in a rugby game and the pitch is going to be looking more like the Somme after all that!

... and rain will turn it into Passchendaele ...

Ah right, good thing I read the thread thru before going into reply mode then

I posted this to the SW match thread and reckon it's worth pasting here --how it looks, or could look, between here and the end (for starters, only three of the nine midweeks between now and the end of the league won't see us playing --the one immediately upcoming, plus the bridge weeks between March/April and April/May-- but intervening events could reduce that to none after this week):

27 FEB (Sat) Sheff Wed (W 5-0)
7 MAR (Sun) Villa FAC6Rnd (h)
10 MAR (Wed) Derby (h)
13 MAR (Sat) Bristol C (h)
16 MAR (Tue) QPR (h) OR Sixth Round Replay (a)
20 MAR (Sat) Boro (a)
24 MAR (Wed) Leicester (a)
27 MAR (Sat) West Brom (h)
30/31 MAR (Tue/Wed) QPR rearranged (only if necessary; from 16th March; idle in midweek otherwise)

3 APR (Sat) Ipswich (a)
5 APR (Mon) Coventry (h)
10 APR (Sat) Cardiff (a) OR Cup Semifinal
13 APR (Tue) Newcastle (h)
17 APR (Sat) Peterborough (h)
20 APR (Tue) Scunny (a)
24 APR (Sat) Watford (a)
27/28/29 APR (Tue/Wed/Thu) Cardiff rearranged (only if necessary; from 10th April; idle in midweek otherwise)

2 MAY (Sun) Preston (h)
15 MAY (Sat) Dream large!

5 Home games in a row in 18 days.

If money allowed, surely 18 days parked up in the hotel would have saved on bus fare. What with discount for STH's.
