I think it's obvious that the manager AND team are very far from happy at what Madejski has done in selling Sig and Rasiak and pocketing the difference.

Nothing wrong at all in that statement. Watch the televised run up to the Norwich game to see McDermott's unhappiness at the transfer out of The Sig and Rasiak. Madejski is sole owner of RFC and the club (business) has pocketed the very sizeable difference.

just the last bit i have a problem with. please show me any evidence that the sig money has gone into JMs pocket, or personal bank account.

Snowball, your list of if only's doesn't name any player more than three times. Long misses a one on one or a free header every game.

Completely agree, Harte & Mills two of the worst culprits. Harte for his frequent verbals to the ref and card waving, and Mills for his general petulence and stupid cynical fouling.

We used to have a touch of class, not just in our play, but in our behaviour and it is fast eroding. In defence of McDermott, clearly the delightful media aren't helping, leading him towards criticising the media. Not that it is sufficient excuse. For every mistake a ref has made that has significantly affected us, we seem to have made at least three. And we've had a few dubious ones go our way as well.

^ Agree with you Ian. Mills is the worst in my view because as captain he should be setting an example. The only example he sets is a poor one. He needs to grow up.
Hope he doesn't get back in the side in a hurry either.

He is an angry young man, without a great deal of self-control by the looks of it. So I agree I'd rather he didn't return to the side for a while. I'd rather have a lesser player, with a better temperament who is more reliable. (Pearce)

floyd__streete
Svlad Cjelli Then again, when you have a manager who complains about refs' decisions after virtually every game, and a captain who's the most indisciplined of the lot, what else can you expect?

Not quite sure I agree really. He has complained in the last couple of games about non-decisions, but generally he conducts himself excellently.

Agreed, he's just voicing what the team think... although you could argue that he should be above all that. I think maybe his man-management skills involve a bit of sticking up for them.

I didn't agree with the bit after so I cut it out.

I don't think we had a single red card the season we got promoted.

It was, and I said it was, a very incomplete list.

Speaking of which, does anyone have a copy of the Soccer AM Third Eye clip of Lita pretending to do his shoelaces up behind a keeper (Sorensen I think) walking backwards to trip him up?

Fordham says that McDermott has had words with Mills over his conduct.
