Hard to argue that Hoilett hasn't improved since we signed him. I know he is an older player and that sort of award should be given to a youngster but I think he is the only candidate.

Puscas and Rafael were a strong candidate for flop of the season as well as Drinkwater and Rahman for unsung hero, likewise Drinkwater and Hoilett for signing of the season.

Hoilett has missed a fair few games but his performances have by and large been impressive in a lot of cases and he's contributed to some important goals for us this season as well.

Am not particularly disagreeing with you but 4 of those receiving praise were at various times part of a team with one of the worst defensive records in our whole history and elsewhere Andy Yiadom features highly as well.

All in all a funny old season..

Puscas- was hoping once he shook off his injuries he’d be okay, but he somehow got even worse instead. Halilovic a close second

Baba Rahman- he had stayed fit for most of the season as our only senior left back until his injury. We should not under estimate how important that was.
