Crowbar6753 QPR and Rotherham have a pretty tough run in!!! If, and that's a big if, we can beat Birmingham and get a point at Preston then we should be back above these two and the pressure shift will be right back on them!!

This 6 point deduction is over now, it's happened, we know what we did wrong, lets get over it and get these 6 points back ASAP.

The next two games couldn't be better, both Birmingham and Preston virtually have nothing to play for. Birmingham need one win for safety and Preston need a miracle for the play-offs.

Three wins will make us safe, two may just about get us there!! This game against Birmingham is the biggest of the season!! a win here will give the whole club a huge boost at exactly the time we need a huge boost and will set us up perfectly for the Preston game where we've done pretty well at Deepdale the past few seasons.

Preston are 5 points outside the play-offs with QPR away on Friday and then us, they will fancy 6 points to get into the mix.

Birmingham/Preston are just about as 'must win' as any of the remaining fixtures are. This division has a funny way of throwing up shock results, just have to hope Ince gives us half a chance of such!

Tough run ins all round really. Do think we'll pick up a win or two.

Looking at who QPR have lost to of late and who they have left, hard to see them even getting another point.

Not so sure re QPR, Chair and Willock back will make a difference when fully match fit

SouthDownsRoyal We won’t beat PNE

I think the Birmingham game is key to this result! Beat the Brummies and we go to Deepdale on a high having won our first game in ages!! Plus a having a good recent record there may help...I'll take anything at the moment.

Thats why Friday's game is so important!! Lose to Brum and the pressure really will be on Ince!! especially with Burnley up after Preston.

Not sure any of the bottom sides have an easy run in so will be tight

If we lose to Brum

I can’t see us getting anything from PNE, Burnley or Luton.

Coventry, maybe then it’s two cup finals

Maybe but they've not been out that long and were key parts of a team that has stunk the place out for a lot longer than the time they've been injured.

Hoping now we have the deduction, that throwing away that 2 goal lead against them doesn't come back to haunt us - as if we had done so, we'd be 2 places better off now and above them rather than 2 points behind.

That's part of the reason a win is key on Friday as unless they win we go above them and Rotherham host WBA - the first of 4 really tough games on the bounce.

AGREE

Although a shock point or three to one of the top clubs
is "not impossible", very few of our performances suggest
this is very likely.

Therefore it comes down to the three "EASIER" games
Birmingham (H), Wigan (H) and Huddersfield (A)

Win all three and we will stay up comfortably.
W2 D1 and we will almost certainly be OK

But lose the first and we might well have to win at Huddersfield.

That will be a case of the team with the most balls (not Reading)

Also a case of the right motivator needing to be in place and unfortunately our current manager is somebody who gives off the impression that he's doing us a favour by being here rather than the likes of Gomes/Paunovic who, despite their flaws, really did want to progress their careers in England.
