Sanguine As Birmingham move towards our record, I'm reminded that we actually drew five of our last nine in 05/06. We 'should' really have finished 110+.

Silver Fox Brum are going to do it aren't they? No surprise really although I always thought it would be the financial advantage of going Prem>Championship that would do for us, not Champ>L1

Jackson Corner I see Burnley have now gone 10 games without conceding a goal. 900 minutes our EFL record is 1103 78-79

When you've spent over 6 times the rest of the league combined, you'd think you would cruise past the record.

tidus_mi2 By my mathing, Steve Death's EFL record is 1074 minutes.
James Trafford last conceded in the 80th minute of the Watford game, that plus 11 games = 1000 minutes.
So if he keeps a clean sheet until at least the 75th minute then he breaks the EFL record, suppose Death would still retain the record in tier 4 but it keeps losing value starting when Van der Sar first broke the overall record.

Do those minutes include "added on time" at the end of BOTH halves? If not why not? If the golaie had let one in during that time, the goal would have counted and the count to the record would have stopped, wouldn't it?

I think it is now nearing odds on Birmingham will do it. Somewhat sad it was them in a poor league but I suppose it was always gonna be something like that.

Not quite done yet - I expect they will heavily rotate once they are there. They are 2 games behind everyone, and are through to the EFL Trophy final, so that's another weekend out and we have the 2 week international break next month. They must be playing every midweek just about.
