Scutterbucketz They’re going to do a big on the pitch bent american reveal aren’t they.

If they're going on the pitch then so am I

What’s the consensus? If we make the playoffs and (more importantly) we’re saved from extinction we’re all getting on the pitch at the end, right?

Think we should get in there anyway even if we don’t make the playoffs. This has been a multi season long nightmare for all and nothing will exorcise the demons more than a good old fashioned pitch invasion.

He is Couhig's business partner according to this article: https://www.readingchronicle.co.uk/news ... ome-match/

However his twitter account has just 7 posts. However, Rob Coughig did tag him on a previous tweet, so it seems legitimate

There’s chippy near the ground on the old Basingstoke Road, might find it more salubrious up The World Turned Upside Down further up the same road though - get a good view of fellow yank’s Gillette empire across the road too.

Would be great to have the players and 22,000 fans doing a conga round the pitch, out of the corner gate and into town….

Crusader Royal When he realises Reading is extremely short of decent places to eat it could throw the whole thing up in the air…..

I’d have pointed him to Munchies for a good old all day breakfast ( but it’s now defunct). Maybe Clay’s for an Indian, Yolk Cafe for a decent brunch or Orwell’s out at Shiplake for something a bit classier. London St Brasserie is ok for standard ‘nice enough’ restaurant grub.

Fcuk that get em down the back of beyond and let’s all get pcunted for £11

That’ll definitely scare him away, as it would any sane human being

Readings got loads of decent places to eat, just not many of those ridiculous overpriced fine dining efforts

+1 for Clays though. Love that place

Used to like Colleys Supper Rooms out near Cemetery Junction but it sadly went a few years back.

Edible Reading will have your guts for garters when he sees this lazy list.

I’ve not lived in Reading for a few years now . Where are the current go to places ?

(If it’s not considered off topic by the board Stasi)

Few years ? I think we were still at EP when it went bust due to lack of custom ….

Orwells? Been there twice with friends and both times very average and massively overpriced. The sommelier is good though.

Been there half a dozen times and had great food every time.
Never look at the prices.
Once had a business lunch at Villa Marina in Henley and one of the investment managers was showing off ordering wine. Only when the bill came did he find out what he’d chosen was £600 / bottle. That got rejected on expenses….

I was in Orwell’s for over 4 fukking hours having a ten course tasting menu on the hottest day of the year last summer. It had been a Christmas present from my folks for my missus and I.

Absolutely not worth 4 hours of anyone’s time and we practically spent at least the last hour in virtual silence. I remember just saying to her “I’ve got nothing left to say. I just want to go home” just as they were serving some yoghurt and muesli bullshit in round 8.

Send the Americans there for making us wait like this. See how they like it.

I criticised him in a QRT, very disappointed I didn't make his list.
