Couhig has just taken out a £3.75 million loan from Dai ffs and put it against bearwood.

I maintain the only way anyone will make money by purchasing a club like Reading is via promotion - so the asset value increases (probably by at least three times, given the revenue difference and being closer to the Premier League). There's no chance of it happening through cost cutting and increasing revenue (at least whilst we're in League One).

I do wonder if Couhig has underestimated how much running Reading would cost him, or simply thought he could do the bare minimum and get us promoted this season.

Deeply concerning Dai is still in the picture. The only thing I can think of is this is a 'temporary resolution' to the already known situation between the two.

As if we know what this means. Given Dai could barely afford a pot to piss in with his final couple of years here and apparently saw his business empire collapse, I can't see how he'd even be able to lend us money.

The same account now seems to be suggesting it's part of some deferred consideration due to Dai, which would be no cause for concern.

There's most likely deferred consideration due for the sale of the club. Now that the new owners have been in situ for 6 months. That's soon due for payment. The cleverly timed filing of the winding up order has seemingly created yet another administrative headache .
