44 crosses into our box to add to the 35 on Saturday.MR. CYNICAL wrote:Just looking at the stats, we only had 32% possession, 6 shots and only 5 touches in the opposition box. Ffs, we are in league one and were at home, how far we have fallen. No wonder the gates are down.

possession stats can be, but are not always, complete nonsense. Just depends which company are used to compile the stat and how they choose to record it.MR. Fair enough, let's ignore that stat.Winston Biscuit wrote:possession stats can be, but are not always, complete nonsense. I doubt he'd have stayed on much longer anyway given how one sided the game was.Hound wrote:Sounds like Marriotts issue was a back spasm
So one of those things that will either totally clear up and be fine by Saturday or may take a few weeks if it keeps recurring. My guess is out for Saturday but back after that

I think he’d have stayed on to try to nick a goal. He’s stayed on in other games where we’ve been under then coshSnowflake Royal wrote:I doubt he'd have stayed on much longer anyway given how one sided the game was.Hound wrote:Sounds like Marriotts issue was a back spasm

But created a goal in each of the last two games - one by a great, relatively short, cushioned pass along the ground to Marriott, the other through a very accurate, longish pass in the air to Marriott,Snowflake Royal wrote:He was the worst culprit for having time and just lumping it long.Orion1871 wrote:Difficult when it's constantly flying over his head.Snowflake Royal wrote:Put your foot on the ball Savage.

Yep, went up to that about three games ago. Apparently they were concerned that the car park was getting too full, particularly on weekday evenings, and not leaving enough space for hotel guests. So,rather than stop offering parking, decided to up the price relying on supply and demand to ensure that they still filled the car park to capacity!MR. Not sure if they saw me coming but they've upped the price to £13!

The caravans had gone by the time our bus came back. Guess the travellers didn't fancy it.MR. CYNICAL wrote:Just a side note, as the park and ride at Mearoak was full of caravans I decided to use the Holiday Inn.

Not sure whether it was his back or a strain elsewhere but apparently he felt something go when he took that shot that went into the side netting in the first half. According to Richardson he didn't quite connect with the ball properly /overstretched.Hound wrote:Sounds like Marriotts issue was a back spasm
