U16s beat West Brom 8-0 today.

Also noticed that Okine-Peters scored for Uxbridge, where he is now on loan.

Impressive result for the U16s - seems there's something positive forming in the lower age groups. Anyone playing we can expect to see in the U18s next season?

Good to see Okine-Peters scored; didn't realise he'd gone out on loan.

Good move for him, tbh, to get some senior football. He'll probably be at that level come next season.

Another 2 goals yesterday for “the General” and against playoff bound Scunthorpe too, hopefully we might have another Doyle/Long prospect there.

.....not if this Sat is anything to go by :?
...and boro are plummeting to'ard STEP03
As per NL on GF, I watched him first-hand in a heavy defeat [0-5] vs fellow relegation strugglers Enfield T.
The distressing take for this thread, albeit may just have been a collective nadir on the day, is that fellow RFC-loanee Beacroft wasn't much better at FB and ex-RFC lad Louie Holzman was hauled off at HT.
Maybe an indicator that he (Holzman) couldn't cut it at STEP01 Eastleigh, who'd released him in Dec.

The U21 game against Arsenal is at the stadium tonight. Andy Rinomhota is here, so presumably will be starting.

0-1 35 mins
H-T 0-1 very poor goal given away. We gave Arsenal the ball and goalscorer chipped the keeper from 35 yards.
0-2 54 mins
0-3 58 mins
1-3 68 mins Jones
1-4 75 mins OG
F-T 1-4 classy performance from Arsenal- Royals better than a 3 goal deficit. Never a dirty game but ref booked 9 !!

Certainly wasn’t a 4-1 game, but Arsenal’s finishing was impressive. Their entire squad were teenagers too. Shows the gulf between our academy and the top sides at the moment.

Was impressed by Duah (despite the own goal). Wingers were direct. Ehibhatiomhan was the best of our first teamers; unlucky not to score at least one.

Didn’t think Rinomhota or Abrefa stood out unfortunately.

Still sounds fairly encouraging. Hold Kelvin got a game and good to hear Duah did well.

Arsenals set up is about the best there is so no shame in the scoreline. Good we competed

A consequence of category 1 academies being able to take top prospects even from other category 1 academies with relative ease. Shouldn't be allowed imo.
