Going to this, perfect draw for me. The Amex is the away game I most wanted to do this season, not sure I can make the league game in March, and the tickets for this are cheaper. Plus as an added bonus will be sitting in the away end (the first time for an away game; sat in the home end for the few away games I have seen), was expecting to have to sit in the home end.

The weather is doing its best to dampen my enthusiasm though, hope it doesn't get called off sometime after 1...

What away games have you been to where you've had to sit in the home end?

Gillingham 3 times out of choice, certainly glad of being in the stand when everyone on the terrace got absolutely drenched for the 2005 game on New Year's Day! Thankfully being local gives me that option as being on the terrace there has never looked particularly appealing. Have gone to one Gills game on average in the last 4 seasons anyway.
The other one was Spurs around this time last year, went with a Spurs mate. Didn't think i'd be able to get in the away end through lack of royalty points (that goes for any away game really tbh) but actually I might have been able to, there seemed to be spaces and sitting not far from the away end felt rather envious in the first half... Didn't help that I made a comment suggesting something along the lines of Pog making a meal of it for the freekick from which we scored, which drew a response from the guy next to me so for the rest of the game I kept quiet and had to pretend I was a Spurs fan when he constantly tried to make conversation with me

Sitting amongst Gills fans abusing Forster (which I didn't fully understand even though I realised he was an ex Gills player) wasn't great, but the Spurs experience was definitely my most uncomfortable away day experience. It will be nice to sample the away atmosphere for a change!
