My pulse neither races or drops! If your pulse drops snowball, I suggest you see your doctor and don't attend any more games until you do!
So Church doesn't score for a while and its his 'lack of ability', but when Long wasn't scoring he was unlucky*, inconsistent*, everyone elses fault*, his cat had died*.

*delete as applicable.

Snowball
ZacNaloen tbf he was up against O'Shea last night.

HRK didn't look very good last night, TBF. He seems very predictable these days, no tricks.

There was a moment where he tired to do Dunn and failed totally. ATM he just doesn't look like a championship player.

And there was another moment where he broke into the box and should have had a penalty.

I also saw three very good crosses but there was no one in the box so hardly his fault.

You're doing what everyone else did with Long and focusing on the negatives.

Not everything he does is good, but neither is everything he does bad.

I don't feel the love for our young Welsh players.

When Long wasn't scoring he was doing everything else brilliantly, THAT's the difference.

He was chasing balls down, winning headers, holding the ball up well, getting tackles in
just about everything we'd expect and more (except finding the net)

The problem with Simon Church this year is is contribution to team-play has ALSO been missing.

We KNOW he should have ability, he got the goals last season, but he appears to have no confidence at all

Snowball I don't want to "bash" Simon Church or HRK.

It doesn't look like "inconsistency" it looks like lack of ability (ATM)

Put it this way, when either come on to the pitch does your
heart lift with expectation or does your pulse DROP?

Both the raw Manset and Antonio at least give us HOPE

Unlike the other thred, I agree with you on this one. Manset and Antonio have impressed me as well- both fairly direct in their play. Antonio is a lot quicker and stronger than HRK. Whenever HRK comes onto the pitch my heart sinks and he's had plenty of chances which haven't worked out now. Antonio and Manset have had a few chances and have both shown something a bit different

I think so far McDermott has generally preferred HRK because he is a slightly more mature footballer with more discipline in his play. Antonio is still in my view something of a loose cannon but when we have been striving for a goal I am surprised he hasn't gone for Antonio a bit more as he is the more likely to do the unexpected and certainly gets on the back post much better than HRK making him much more likely to score himself. Unfortunately we don't have the personnel to make much of his long throw.

I don't think HRK has been as bad recently as other people think but I would have hoped he would have kicked on a bit more this season and I think he missed a good opportunity at Stevenage to make a point. Without being outstanding I actually think he did a decent job when he came on as sub and played down the middle a few times a while back and I think that could be the position where his career may eventually lie.

It's a strange one really, I know it's a lower division, but weren't Swindon fans raving about HRK? Personally I don't rate him, but he must have something about him. Maybe it's more of a confidence thing than anything.

neither are good enough yet.
both need coaching and nurturing into maturity.
out of the two- HRK looks a better footballer to me, antonio looks potentially better, but raw, and unpredictable.
but possibly more likely to grab a winner, or create some 2nd half chaos.
HRK more likely to hold onto the ball.
id worry if we were left with these two as main wingers for us next year.

This is absolutely bang on as far as I'm concerned. As is Zac's point.
