exileinleeds ^^^ Is there ANYTHING MORE POINTLESS than banging on about what Coppell should or should not have done?

What is done is done, cannot be changed, we cannot go back and lose to Liverpool instead of Bolton. We did not do enough to stay in the Prem or get back there last season. Not any one persons fault. It is done.

Look at the here and now. This is what we have. You either support the team or don't. If you don't then stop making my eyes bleed and piss of to the Man City site- I bet they are recruiting new "supporters."

Why don't you piss off and support Leeds then??? And next time I have something to say I will run it by you first so that it doesn't offend. Get over it you northern twunt!

Why would I support Leeds? I live in Sussex and Basingstoke. I fell in love with football while being taken to Reading games. Ten years ago. Days when Walsall was a tough game, fun beach days at Bournemouth, going to Scunthorpe and trying to make it a home game...not great days for football per se... but something about this club got me, and it seems I am Reading till I die. To the extent that I took a poor dull badly paid job in Winchester, just so I could get to games.

Yes I am Northern, from Nottingham as it happens, but you sir are merely terminally boring.

How come you're called 'exileinleeds' then - seems a poorly chosen name?! :D

I came back from Africa in a hurry, and was offered somewhere to live in Leeds- someone told me it was a fun buzzy trendy city. They lied. Naturally, I signed up to this forum- it was an ok choice then (apart from everyone thinking I was Jay)...I escaped back to civilisation, but seems I am stuck with it.

All long gone in the cull.

I worked for a Kenyan company but was based in Gambia. I project managed an development in the presidents home village Kanilai. He was impressed, and offered me the job of Director of the Gambian Tourism Authority, fantastic opportunity, enormous power, great potential for making serious amounts of cash...but if parliamentry leader Baba Jobe can get 9 years for being popular...

I'm happy with this transfer window.
A bunch of youngsters coming through, too. They feel like new signings.

yes and no. yes im happy with the window in the same way that im happy to eat at mcdonalds.its food, its tasty but i dont know in the long run its going to ruin my guts.

i dont know if im happy with the youngsters yet and they dont feel much like new signings. i feel that, for the academy to work we need to give these guys experience earlier. i know ive said this before but these chaps arent youngsters, at 20/21 youre 3-4 years into your professional career and i cant help thinking that if you havent broken the first team before then there isnt much chance youre going to set the world alight thereafter...

i know that might be unduly pessimistic and obviously there are exceptions to the rule but players like kelly scare the bejesus out of me and i can understand why he never got picked before. and it wasnt cos he was too young.
