Hound fair enough. apparently cost them £4m and got them 1 goal and 3 assists in 58 appearances. Pretty special that.

How do players like that continue to make a career in football? Surely he should be off to do IT recruitment or something

Pepe the Horseman Derby have magicked up some cash and have now proved they've got the funds to keep going til end of season.

I'm not sure they've proven anything, it seems to be a forecast from the administrators.

This could easily have been resolved had they sold Lawrence and Sibley in January. Zero sympathy for them

Just been announced that they've sold Kamil Jozwiak to a side in the US for a fee, so that likely gives them the funds needed.

Are they going to pay for Bielik?

How long did he have left on his contract?

Can't someone from the states take Liam Moore off our hands for silly money like that? He's Jamaican by nationality so it could be selling point to move closer to his roots.

Not until they come out of admin clearly.

Really should be a rule that if a club is in admin then a player can't be played if any fee is outstanding.

hmm not sure its quite like that. He moved closer to Leicester so he could bring his kids up in Leicester. Doubt he'd consider going abroad at this point, esp as he has another year of stupid money guaranteed

just checking twitter etc on it, and Alan Nixon reckons there are still instalments to pay his old club (Jozwiak not Bielik who we know about)

So not really sure it actually gives them much money, more reduces their debts. Maybe saves them the 15k a so a week salary though...

They still owe instalments on that transfer so this is really clearing a little bit of debt rather than having funds in place to last until the end of the season.

Yeah I know, I wasn't necessarily being serious in a way, it was more an incentive he could have for somebody who could match the money and pay the money we'd want.

I don't actually think a move to the states would be that silly for him, but of course, as you say, it's a big relocating job that he likely won't want to do at this point.

As they're in admin, wouldn't Poznan have to wait in line with all other creditors for their Jozwiak payments?

Yes I think so This sale will just bring in some funds and reduce the overall amount of debt that they owe all creditors.

Peterboro are shocking.

21 pts in 34 games

Just looked to see where hudders are now - in 2nd but somehow played 5 more games than Bournemouth

It's kind of insane that Bournemouth are due to play Peterborough, Derby and then ourselves all at home in the space of a week.

bearing in mind, £ky were licking their lips (pre season) looking at some of those games as being promotion/play-off fodder for screening……..

Putting some context around it, Barnsley only have 2 more points than Peterborough and they've won 3 of their last 4, they must be woeful really, just going through a purple patch.

Just watching the Fulham game…

Why did Harry Wilson after scoring, check his natural momentum to run past the Blackburn fans to shithouse them rather than celebrate in front of the home fans. Same thing happened when Foreskin Kebano scored their first, with diving champion Mitrovic joining in too.

They really are a bunch of whining fannies.

Ascotexgunner
Snowflake Royal Seems like they're essentially banking on getting another points deduction because they're going down anyway, in the hope the FL won't have the guts to kick out a big high profile club with a former England captain and top goalscorer as manager. Rather than actually paying their dues

They turned down a multi million kind offer for Tom Laurance as well. They should have been forced to sell.
They really are a 2 faced bunch blaming the EFL for their debts. I hate seeing any club fold but that clubs behaviour and delaying tactics (which kept them up at the expense of Wycombe) are just disgusting. Bury never got as many chances, so why should they?

The Wycombe thing is a red herring. They were never in contention to stay up and it was only a last day of weird results that ended up in them finishing 22nd. I think if Derby had been deducted points the results would have played out differently at the bottom and Wycombe would still have been bottom 3
