Plymouth will be over the moon with the draw.
Big game for them today.

We're happy too!

That Friday Feeling
Stooper
floyd__streete LOL @ never having played in the top flight, losers

You really are a pathetic cock.

... Now you mock a club for never being where you thought your club would never get until it actually happened?

Now I don't know floyd__streete but I'm sure I see the deliberate irony in his post.

Thanks TFF, it seems that Stooper needs these things rather need pointing out to him as I rather suspect he is somewhat hard of thinking :|

Best stick to the egg-chasing, Stooper, seems more to your sterile taste. And I can but assume you were many miles away from Home Park today - let alone Hillsborough midweek - where I was putting my money where my (big) mouth is, as per. Having a bit of BANTer with old T-Rex here, an old favourite of this board, not that I actually ever need to justify anything I might say or do to you. Huge LOL @ you for thinking that I would ever in reality be snobby about top flight football; having watched plenty of lower division and non league football myself over the years I actually prefer lower level football.

T-Rex About the number of plastic Reading fans who'll turn up to Home Park and sit on their hands in silence on Saturday.

Pathetic little club, very smalltime.

Can see it getting slated by the critics.

Smalltime...hmmm. ALOL @ the prediction that we'd only take 400. We've regularly taken good numbers to Plymouth, including 800ish on a tuesday night in Nov 04. 1444 yesterday, decent turnout IMO.

And seeing as we're on about crowd numbers (which the thread title seems to suggest) may I point out that Plymouth's highest league gate this year is still a good 1500 lower than our very own smallest gate?

And also that the away attendances averaged by "little" Reading (1200-ish - I don't have the specific away figures for QPR or Sheff Wed) are indeed 50% higher than "massive" Plymouth (842). Small time indeed.

Plymouth - distinctly mediocre. T-Rex - deluded, just like the other 12,569 Plymouth fans there yesterday. They really are not as big as they think they are.

To be fair to Plymouth if our nearest game was over 100 miles away and an average away trip was a 5 hour return drive I'm not sure we'd take too many.

Was surprised at how small the home crowd was yesterday though, I had always seen Plymouth as fairly well supported but 13,000 home fans for a game like that with, I understand, cheap tickets available, suggests that their level is somewhere around Div 1.
