Snowflake Royal Hull are probably safe even if they lose every game. Even if they lose and Barnsley win they're 9 points clear.

Agree, yet there are some on here who think hull will be dragged into it

Maybe they are new to football
until today’s results, Hull were very much vulnerable

It was simple mathematics….no need for the self-righteousness

It wasn’t, had hull lost today they would have had a 12 point gap from Barnsley with a better GD with 7 to play

Mathematically possible but anyone who isn’t on drugs would know Hull wouldn’t have been dragged into it

Think we were more getting excited about overtaking them, than their actual odds of relegation Ian…tbf, tbh etc

Oh ok, I wasn’t excited about finishing 20th rather than 21st but I apologise to those who were

Just to be clear Derby and Barnsley (6 wins in 40) need to win 3 of their remaining fixtures to catch us if we don`t pick up another single point.

After Fulham Derby play an injury stricken QPR side who have fallen apart. Then they play three sides where they will fancy their chances. I see them as a bigger threat than Barnsley who are a very poor side.

If Derby lose one game, and we win one game or draw three, they cannot drop any other points.

They're not a threat.

Of course they are a threat.

It's simply a question of when it becomes mathematically impossible for them to catch us, not if.

Don’t count your chickens master Royal. My biggest concern is how many points we pick up in the final five games. Without Swift we lack creativity. We also badly missed Rino’s energy today. Would like to see Camara given a chance.

They would have fancied their chances yesterday against a side with nothing to play for

Swansea have picked up 13 points from 5 games are in good form. Win their game in hand and they are 5 points off the play offs. They have Barnsley and us next up. They have everything to play for.

Great time to be playing them next Monday after they play Barnsley on Friday, another load of noisy buggers in the away end from over the Severn bridge, what could possibly go wrong?

Yesterday was one of those games where if the opposition scored you just knew they would score again. Having a large away support helps in that regard.

In all seriousness though how likely are Barnsley to win 3 games in 6 when they've won 6 all season and have three very difficult away games left.

Derby, although i agree are a better side, are gone if they lose to Fulham.

They won't. It's just about the maths.

Needs to be noted that Fulham can clinch promotion on Friday if they beat Coventry today.

Everyone is a threat until the points say they aren't.

Where we are though now is Derby and Peterborough now need to pull back more points than they can afford to drop over a 5 game run.

Fulham losing 2-0 at home to Coventry it will be just our luck for them to go through a bad patch when it`s Derby up next.
