Friday's Legacy amazingly one father and his (what looked like 10 yr old son) tried to reach y26 and were both thrown out after trying to take on the stewards.

A proper oxf*rd, Who the oxf*rd does that with their kid with them.I hope he's enjoying a night in the cells. nobend

Over on the House of Fun they are claiming that the kid was hit by a coin thrown from the Reading end.

Para Handy I'll confess, I'm not going to read what I assume is an angst ridden thread.

Just like to say that I'm mildy shocked that Millwall's fans are still living in the 80's. Interesting trip on the bus to the ground, full of the sort of people that I'd go out of my way to avoid in a social situation.

Any HOF readers, reading this.. hmm. you lot.. you're a bit wacky aren't you? Bit woo, bit racist. Wish we'd beaten you for lots of reasons, football mostly, but also because your fans are still stuck in some sort of time warp. Along with Stoke, Palace and Wolves you're the most unpleasant set of knobs I've seen at the Madejski. Don't bother telling me you don't care.

My bus was unbelievable. I did feel I was back in the 1970s. It ended with one of them pretending to be a Pakistani bus driver for five minutes, with neither a way with accents nor a gift for comedy.

My thoughts:

Millwall came to defend in numbers and hit us on the break and it nearly worked for them. Then knew to double up on our wingers and make us work to break them down and we struggled.

Federici - 5 great save for the one on one, shame he tipped it straight to their forward for their second. And I think he may have been suspect for the first.
Griffin - 5 poor in general, but also looked to be carrying an injury virtually all second half.
Harte - 4 poor set pieces, beaten for pace and skill time and again
Pearce - 6 can't play alongside Harte, they're just both too slow to cover each other when they move out of position for whatever reason. Suspect for their first goal.
Khumalo - 6.5 not as good as I was expecting but didn't do a lot wrong.]
Karacan - 6 anonymous for first 20 minutes, overrun second half, but decent otherwise
Leigertwood - 6 ok, overrun second half
McAnuff - 7 at the heart of most of our better play, worked hard, didn't quite come off for him
Kebe - 7 didn't really work for him but posed a threat.
Hunt - 6 worked hard but was looking for freekicks and diving too much
Long - 6 worked hard and hit the woodwork but didn't really threaten a lot.

Manset - 8 tidy and two good goals, the first was a beaut but I can't help thinking it should have been saved.
HRK - 6 ok I guess, diagonally opposite side of the pitch so hard to see how well he did.

First half I thought we looked vulnerable but the better side by some way. Lost our way second half and fell apart for about half an hour when they scored. Good spirit to come back.

Promising and worrying, but pace at full back, and left side of defence in general, is worrying. Karacan and Legs not up to speed and same old problem of close down our flanks and we struggle to create good chances. But we could have got several more and Millwall came to stop us. Equally though Millwall missed a couple of easy chances.

To start off with, thats probably complete crap. But say it was real, If they don't want their young ones to get hit by coins...perhaps don't invade the pitch, taunt the opposing fans into a reaction and even attempt to start the violence themselves by getting over the netting in the first place which created the carnage. Millwall giving lectures to other fans on behaviour would be like me trying to run for parliament, laughable. They really are just bias idiots. I've seen plenty of opposing fans who are good for some friendly banter and a chat outside the ground, i've been to ninian park twice and even they had some friendly fans. I've never seen a respectful millwall fan in my time and I must have been to 10 or so games at least with them involved. Not to say there aren't normal friendly ones out there, the vast majority seem like bigoted, aggressive, bias idiots who think they are above the law.

Schards#2 LOL @ playing "it's getting better all the time" at the final whistle, I hope it was someone being ironic. The reality is that the opposite is true, it gets worse as the team has millions syphoned out of it year after year.

Was last season not an improvement on the one before? In fact wans't it our most enjoyable and successful season since 2006/7?

Yes, in the circumstances we did sensationally to make the play offs, but you can only defy gravity for so long and if you seriously weaken the team/squad every year, there is only one eventual outcome.

That's right, we're getting worse and worse, except for all the seasons we're not which don't count.

Anyone think Griffin looked slow(er)?!

How could he?

Def slower than last year, felt nervous whenever he had the ball as he looked off the pace. Maybe because he was injured during pre season?

manset's shot swerved left then right then in. a superb shot that the keeper had no chance with.

Federici - 9, didn't see their first so not sure whether it was his fault
Harte - 6, very average and slow
Pearce - 5, headers went nowhere, usual lack of pace etc
Khumalo - 6 composed and decent in the air but made mistakes
Griffin - 5 Out of position a lot, beaten for pace, poor game
McAnuff - 7 very creative in the first half, faded in second, decent strike to hit the post
Kebe - 7 entertaining, superb cross for Manset, he usually puts 5 poor crosses in and 1 beauty per game and those beauties are the important ones
Karacan - 7 worked hard and had a solid first half
Leigertwood - 8 won the ball back all the time in the first half. Composed but faded a bit
Hunt - 6 should've done better a few times, did alright
Long - 7 didn't see much of the ball but passes were neat and hit a great left footer onto the bar

Robson-Kanu - 6 didn't do much but kept it neat
Manset - 8 superb goals but didnt win enough long balls

That, is frankly unbelievable, even as a biased view.

This is really getting boring now. You all sound like a bunch of 14 year old girls at a Justin Bieber Concert. Federici is in goal because Brian thinks he is the better option and he is right because he has passed all of his coaching badges, sees them on the training pitch and hasn't let us down during his tenure as manager. You all like McCarthy, I get that, he is going to be a very good Keeper but ,that is no excuse to denigrate a keeper who is one of the best in this division in Feds.

Just be thankful that we don't do average Keepers at this club and we have three very good players in that position.

Sorry if that's not sensationalist enough for nob heads everyone btw.

How about this:

McCarthy's sh1t I hope we loan him to Celtic and he gets stabbed to death in a nightclub by an irate protestant.

Wind your neck in chap. I can understand why someone might say he wasn't at fault and had an ok game, on balance I disagree, we'll see if the highlights change my mind. But 9 out of 10, making him man of the match? Bizarre.
