Snappo  Watched game on some asian channel with asian commentary but zero buffering and good quality.TV ants by far the better stream.

got to say it's nice having the english commentary which is why i stuck with Star Sports on SopCast - it only re-buffered twice the whole game which i'm happy with (although if i'm to be really picky i'd quite like a better quality picture!).

Watching Bikey's "foul" at normal speed I was sure he had got the ball, so I played it back in slo-mo. He did indeed get the ball, then Jerome fell over him theatrically. The ref, who was behind Jerome, could in no way see what had happened in detail and should only give a foul if he sees it. So no foul, no booking, no second goal to make the scoreline look respectable.

It was poor defending even if he did get a bit of the ball.

Should've stayed goal side and cleared from there. Wasn't impressed by either center halfs performance to be honest.

Might want to look harder next time. Both spent most of the game well-positioned and composed. Each made a couple of errors, but then so did Mr. 20 million at the other end.

I was impressed with both centre-halfs' performances, and Bikey should not have been booked. The ref guessed wrong.

So he was the wrong side of the defender, does that mean he's not allowed to kick the ball? Nonsense.

Ha! Beat me to it Arch.

And Upson should have been sent off for a dreadful 2 footed lunge at Kitson. If he had connected it would have bye bye to our flame haired hero for the 2nd half of the season as well.

alad Lita took his chances well but you'd expect any half decent striker to have scored them. He did miss a free header that on another day could have proved costly.

Yes, and he missed a nice opportunity for his hat-trick but a 50% strike rate is okay at the moment isn't it?

I think you're being a bit harsh in saying "any decent striker..." - Lita created both of the chances with exceptional movement and reflexes and that real poacher's instinct. I much prefer Doyle as an overall player but give Lita the ball at his feet within 10 yards of goal and I'd back Lita every time.

Combine the 2 and we'd have the best striker in the world....? (Mmmmmaybe...)

Great game and good team performance. I caught up with Gilkesey in the Ibis Bordesley after the game, where we were watching the Man U Pompey game. What a legend and really nice bloke to boot.

Told him I thought his Chronicle column has been excellent all season. Apparently he does read this message board regularly as do many of the players according to Gilkes.

Anyway, just thought I'd share that.

Looking forward to a home tie next round !
